NP was from a great height but moving forward I really hope it won’t be Rowett, personally of those available I would prefer Eustace or Beale. Well it’s all about opinions & I like Sykes although he often doesn’t support the full back but does offer more in an attacking role. As for creativity’s I can’t see how he is anywhere near the level of TGH in terms of his passing range or dead ball delivery… as I say just my opinion.

It appears to depend where you are travelling from ! For me travelling from Wiltshire the change station IS Reading…. Strange !

How about Sykes as RB & TGH to give some creativity in midfield would be my only variation to the consensus of most of those above (based on worst case scenario) ?

I was watching Diaby closely on the corner & was amazed he was so focussed on Ballard he didn’t even allow for the him running towards the goal .Went to the toilet came back & he had given a penalty away . Made me think how much we have improved defensively, if we can start being efficient in front of goal we can only progress up this (albeit difficult) league.

There’s been a few well known examples over the years not least Messi, Suarez, Neymar Cruyff & Henry.

Couldn’t make it today. I’m not a Cornick hater but not a (big) fan either. Needs to be given more time, we all know he’s not a replacement for someone like TC. Looked a good save. IMHO my criticism would be after taking it down well the natural finish would firm contact and low near post. Then if the Keeper saves it then no complaints.

I pretty much agree with your assessment. Before today I would have agreed with your “PNE side” with Bell instead of Mehmeti but he didn’t seem at it today so that would be my only reservation. Also my player of last season Pring 100% but now watching Roberts I am impressed. Would like to see more of him defending to be sure but going forward & dead ball kicks definitely adds something we’ve been missing. Vyner hmmm always said the same, I never criticised last season but when we have the 2 Rob’s available I wonder if he will feature in the 2nd half of the season… will he sign another contract ? Poole probably saved them at least 1 more goal conceded. For me today Roberts & Knight were another level.
