  1. In the next few days we will see if Mr Lansdown really wants a crack at the premiere league and sanctions at least a couple of deals.I would not hold your breath and fear the worst.
  2. I do really hope so because it would give us a much needed physical presence and goal threat up top.If we had a target man last night we would have won the match for sure.I think between now and the transfer deadline day will determine whether Mr Lansdown is really interested in promotion to the Premier League.I hope he is but not confident.
  3. I remember Fred Ford in the early sixties at Ashton Gate.A strict no nonsense type of manager who looked after players who gave 100%.Chris Crowe, Brian Clark, Danny Bartley, Alec Briggs and Gordon Parr are just some of the names I remember.
  4. I could not agree more it really is very poor and quite laughable.
  5. I feel this is my fault as I asked the question earlier about Tommy being the championship top goal scorer.Such a shame he is going to be a big miss my optimism for the season has been shaken.
  6. Do you think this may be worth a punt at odds of 33 /1?
  7. Hi everyone. To be brutally honest I have lost interest in him and his very poor advisors. Graham Male.
  8. Hi everyone. I know it is all about personal opinions but I think the Chris Garland and John Galley partnership was one of the best Bristol City forward combinations.Watched them play together many many times.
  9. Hi everyone. Just wanted to say I had a trial with Bristol City in the early sixties and met the legend that is Chris Garland.I will always remember he was just about to shower after training and asked me to get him some shampoo from the shop on the corner by Ashton Gate.A lovely friendly man and a memory I will treasure for ever. Graham Male.
