They did announce them in the league cup semi final season it was something to with BCC regarding parking around AG, surprising amout of sc holders that don't attend each game, I'm sure it was as many as 1500-2000 some games. IIRC it was only the 2 Manchester games that virtually every ticket sold was used.

Agree, cup final day was always special, used to watch all of it, go out and play football after the game finished and watch the highlights later, 100,000 at the old Wembley it was always a great day in the football calendar. Rarely watch these days and quite often don't even know who is in the final until the day, I am watching today tho and quite enjoying it.

I can tell you now if the shoe was on the other foot and we had done what they have today not one of that lot would be saying well done, they would all be complaining to the FA for Scunthorpe fielding a weakened side, I know plenty of Gas and they are good mates but I can't stand them as a football club or their nutcase manager and the phoney billionaire owner (when is the new ground opening?) pathetic tinpot club with a tinpot ground and lower league 1 support at best, forever in our shadow. I think they will go up one way or another, what are they probably the 3rd biggest club in that league after Bradford and Swindon, that must be reflected in budget etc and to be fair they have been on hell of a run, Championship 2 is another ball game altogether tho, that is a tough league these days I wouldn't want to be in that league and when was the last time they made any impression in that division ?
