374 !!! That can't possibly be right, they travel in huge numbers as they constantly tell us, its what they do.
-
Be interesting to see how many of the best away support in league 1 went today, bet they were louder than Leeds and Liverpool though.
-
I've got to be honest, I'm worried that if they keep DC they are coming for us, its keeping me awake at night.

Seen this this morning and thought....really?
Commercial director Tom Gorringe says no club other than Tottenham Hotspur have done more to improve their ground this summer than Bristol Rovers.
If thats improved infrastructure then we play at the san siro
Had to read it again as I couldn't believe it, 3 refurbished bars, new shop and electronic turnstyles( they can be a bit scarey and put people off tho ) that is very impressive work, yet again most clubs are in awe of them, even Spurs fans !!!

Well well, I think they can't get any more embarrassing and then they do, he is being serious I presume, comparing their new tent being delayed to Tottenhams ground delay, I don't know where the club find them from, they all talk s--t from top to bottom and the fewers lap.it up

After watching that footage I really am struggling to think of a worse ground in the football league most clubs in the last 20 years or so have made some kind of improvements and how many grounds do you visit that have tents for stands. They really are an embarrassment to Bristol. I'm not surprised they take thousands away every other week every ground they visit would be an upgrade on that dump they play at. Although to be fair "these things take time"

Heres an idea, as they have a pop up temporary ground that could be put on the back of a couple of lorries why don't they tour the country like a travelling circus, just rack up at some park or field, play a game and move on to the next park. They know that their fans will turn up in their thousands wherever they are playing and would only upset the locals for one afternoon.

I can see it now, Dyson being carried shoulder high by the Gas along the A4 through Saltford !!!!
-
Not a chance of the Gas sharing with Bath Rugby if they redevelope the Rec, the only slight chance they may have of a ground share is if Bath Rugby were to move out of Bath and head Bristol way but that is exactly what Bath Rugby and all the pubs, restaurants etc of Bath city centre don't want to happen hence the ongoing battle to upgrade the Rec. They are more likely to end up back with Bath City at Twerton Park.

You can see it now, the Southampton builders will redevelop the rugby ground while the gas move to Cheltenham or Bath City while the new stadium is built, the new stadium won't get built due to a lack of money and hopefully the gas will.be gone from Bristol for ever.

So if this is true then it sounds as if they will be carrying a load of builders from Southampton down the Gloucester Rd

What are these assets that a few have spoke of? How much is a tent worth these days.
State of the art turnstile system, someone like Liverpool or Man City would probably take that off their hands and I'm sure the Bath and West show would take the tents from them.
-
To be fair that's not a bad crowd, we must remember that many are being put off by the new turnstyle system and the lack of a row M must be putting many more off.

FGR in the top 6 in league 2, it would be absolutely hilarious to see them go up and the row M'ers go down.

One word - scum !!

I thought they were going to smash QPR and it would kick start their season !!!

I see the best, loudest fans in the league are currently behind Sunderland, Portsmouth, Bradford, Barnsley, Coventry, Plymouth and Charlton in the average attendances in league 1, must be the lack of a row M in the new tent keeping the crowds down and also the state of the art turnstile system that seems to be putting quite a few off, these things take time I suppose.

You just know at some stage after the game tonight you will hear " as I was walking back to the station I was chatting to some QPR fans and they said that we were the loudest fans ever to visit Loftus Rd, so much louder than the Gert Teds"

Loyal and true....
Considering it being holiday season, balloon fiesta, virtually no away fans & the uncertainty of the new turnstile system I thought the attendance was decent.
Conversation in a gas house sat morning wife "what time you going to the mem love ?" husband "not sure if I'm going, I'm a bit uncertain about the new turnstile system, shall we go to the balloon fiesta instead "

Fairly certain we will have more than 150 at Rotherham, 250 at least, not great but we don't claim to have some of the bestest and loudest fans in the country like that bunch of inbreds do
