  1. He was never given "a chance"
  2. Morton is a really good player, never got a chance under NP.
  3. Correct = Ipswich for instance.
  4. I am more convinced they are looking at Luke Williams now. The fact they are looking for a Head Coach does not disappoint me.

    The Return

His leaving Millwall like he did suggests a new challenge was possibly about to become available. Give it a couple of weeks for the dust to settle, sort out back room staff etc The other team open up the position and he moves in nice and clean, no compensation. A scenario that makes sense to me. But I still feel Luke Williams may be the "dark horse" here.
  6. You are welcome human worker drone.
  7. He will not be concerned about a fan backlash about the previous guy.
  8. Messed up his interview last time.
  9. Possibly but a big "if" - new medical team coming remember. maybe they will be the "ones" to sort out the 5 year injury mess ?
  10. Yep, this is a non-starter.
  11. I have met NP a few times and he is nothing like the press conference prickly character he portrays. He is chatty, pleasant and interesting. He is however very "old school" in his methods and this has been useful in sorting out the mess he inherited but not necessarily the way for the club going forward (in their opinion). Sadly it may have been he was only ever really brought in as a "fire fighter" short/medium term appointment and the plan was always to replace him around this time.
  12. I also lived through the Div 4 days and had a bad injury that meant I couldn't play but could go home and away. Loved going to those old, tiny, run down grounds of yester year.
  13. As I said, not my choice but could see them going for him for a number of reasons.
  14. Luke Williams just seems to fit the profile, is known to the club. especially Tinnion. Not my choice but If I was to pick a favourite it would be him at this point.
  15. We need a "real" coach not an old school "Mike Bassett" manager or ex England International. Someone from one of the top Academies who I never heard of but can actually coach modern day players. Spends time on the training ground working with players, every day. Thats the next step from Pearsons decent ground work, I feel.

    He’s gone.

    ooh, there's a thought !
  17. Luke Williams ticks all the boxes for the club.
  18. They did look good. Under Pearson we often looked so disorganised out of possession, at times good with it. But teams found us easy to play against far to often for me.
