  1. So as I’ve rarely posted it makes my opinion worth less than others ? my provenance is home and away for 30 odd years just as I’ve no desire to type my thoughts about the price of hotdogs and where to park on Saturday means I’m contrarian ? Id love to be able to put on here what I’ve been told over the years by previous players, just one question why’s tinnion never had another job in football ?
  2. I’m not saying that manning has asked for 3 windows and agree with what others have said that the 3 windows is a smoke screen I’m just saying that we cant judge him this early that’s all.
  3. Johnson snr lost 9 out of the first 12 didn’t he ? Its not the current mangers fault it’s all down to the boy and the binman that’s where your anger should be
  4. I’ve no idea unlike de la soul why 3 in the magic number, I personally stopped during the Osman Jackie debacle so totally get where your at and can’t find an excuse to argue with you unfortunately
  5. Whilst I fully admit to being a Pearson fan nobody can even judge Manning as of yet. Previous mangers and I agree here have asked and been given 3 transfer windows to build their own squad so let’s give the fella time. The ire of the fans who pay their money and are entitled to their views should all be directed at the people who's decision to replace the manger that in my opinion was doing a fantastic job with awfully limited funds. Nigel was never a yes man and clearly didn’t suffer fools so when the boy blunder tells him who to pick and how to play it was never going to end well really ! This division is so tight anything can happen 3 wins and we are back on the edge of the playoffs and the new style he’s trying to implement I’m enjoying, so as hard as it is to swallow we got no option but to get behind the team. Lansdown jnr and his best mate have shown the disrespect they have for the fan base I’ve been here long before them and after the recent behaviour hopefully a long time after them.
  6. Funny how few of his ex team mates actually like him
  7. Unfortunately the owners have no connection to the fans at the club or any idea about football. Your right managers come and go and players get over it straightaway as that’s football it’s us fans who deal with the fall out. I find it amusing how these recent fan forums of late have had Pontius Pilate Tinnion up top washing his hands with pre cooked questions.
  8. He’s a top fella from when he used to do the sky phone in after the match on a Sunday to radio 5 now and huge city fan be worth a visit that
  9. This is spot on, we can’t say for sure but 2 games against 2 poor sides if we won then we’d be just outside the play offs, the loss against Cardiff the other team sacking their manger the bin man and boy blunder dived in not giving one idea of how the fans felt.
  10. A relatively ok situation? Think it’s lots better than that ! Players hopefully returning from injury sat just outside the playoffs and when Pearson was cast aside 2 games against teams in the relegation places ! whilst I fully agree you can’t judge the new manager on 3 training sessions and one game, the choice of Manning after the sacking of Pearson must leave you baffled ? Again I hope to be proved wrong but I think Pearson had the measure of Tinnion didn’t let him or Junior interfere and now he’s paid the price.
  11. Can managers make players play their own style ? When interviewed any prospective manager would ask what’s the budget surely
  12. Wasn’t a great game but saw plenty of them under Pearson also ! Same problem no Money best players sold and not replaced but Teflon Tinnion and daddy’s boy will tell us all different
  13. When they did that bad a job yes, why has he never been anywhere else ?
  14. We all have our opinions on who should be in charge and how things have been done, but surely the reason is we all want what’s best for our football club ? History suggests that Tinnion can’t manage a football club but he’s having a big say in what goes on which don’t sit right with me
  15. Totally agree just thought we’d turned the corner when appointing Pearson now it’s back to who the Binman recommends
  16. Think the above sums it up perfectly, on another note if you weren’t a Bristol City fan and sat at home watching this what would your thoughts be then ? When Birmingham sacked Eustace for Rooney didn’t a little bit of you inside think hope he fails there as that Eustace was doing a decent job ? Reading the other posts here I’m not for a minute saying Pearson was the messiah some of the football was dire at times but seeing his plan in building a team bringing the youth through having very little investment meant like most I brought into it more. His sacking wasn’t a shock once your contract gets into the last 6 months and no talks about a new one are forthcoming then the writings on the wall really just like most it didn’t sit well with me thought my club was better than that
  17. This is exactly right, I’d dearly dearly love to be wrong but past experience suggests otherwise, we all want City to win every week who ever is in charge be it a manager a coach or a director of football. Agree though imagine getting the sack from a man who took 2 years to design a new club badge ….
  18. Far from closet just never had the urge to post.
  19. And within touching distance of the top 6 ! A third of the wage bill is probably closer to be fair, like all of us I want the new chap to succeed but …..
  20. After getting rid of Jordan (2nd time around) Wilson and now Pearson, it’s obvious that the one footed wonder certainly has the ear of the chairman….. Poaching a yes man manger of a team in the division below certainly sums the club. Sale your best players with no investment play the youth half the wage bill what else could have Pearson done to get another contract?
