Anyone have trouble getting into Nottingham from the motorway last night? I live just outside the city centre and the traffic was horrendous all over.

Well played Bristol, that was a great showing, your team gave us a good go. Your fans were great tonight, better than most of the Premier League rabble we get. We lacked quality and nearly paid the price. I had perfect view of the goal line attempt, heart definitely in my mouth. Another time, that tie would have been yours. Our goalie pulled out a banger of a game. Best of luck for the rest of the season. Definitely on my list of "must do" away days.

Some crazy traffic around Nottingham tonight. Hope anyone from Bristol is already parked up and not stuck in any of it.

We will have 8 subs... only just though.

My thoughts are "go for the Cup". All psychological, in our promotion season, we got a quarter final and smashed Leicester on the way, very few were saying "But what about the league". Last season, we got a League cup semi final, in a relegation battle.

We are in a similar position really, injuries, players at AFCON, players ineligible, total nightmare. January could have been a quiet month but we insisted on turning two games into four, with one and maybe two going to extra time.

How many are you expecting to bring tonight?

No worries. Oh, I forgot to mention and cannot edit post but the £5 parking by the river on the embankment is CASH only. There is bit before the chargeable area where you can park for free as you go in through the gates to the embankment. This has the second advantage of allowing you to get out quicker. About 20 minute walk to the ground from there.

The "Meadow lane sports bar" at Notts county is alright to be fair, comfy with good food as well as far as football catering goes. For parking, if getting there an hour before kick off, parking on the embankment on the road by the river costs a fiver but be warned, getting out can take forever so not ideal if you ware wanting a quick getaway. I parked at Long Ashton park and ride at your place and that was rather good, quick getaway. Getting away from the City ground in the pedestrian stampede can be slow. Nottingham council are very much "Anti Car" and it shows. If you are able to walk, I would consider the train station car park, a bit less of a walk than from Ashton Gate to Long ashton park and ride. Can get away reasonably OK. Is a fiver after 10am I think. Would double check. Train Station is about 10-15 minute walk from Meadow Lane (Notts County) if you are going to the sports bar. Safe travels to anyone coming to the City Ground tonight. If you are able to got some shots on goal, you might be surprised how awful our goalie is

Am a Forest fan. Just want to say what a cracking away day me and my two boys had on Friday. I know many teachers will say "I am ruining their lives" by giving them a day off to see a game of football but they got a lot out of it, we did some sight seeing around the town, had a great time. Your facilities and ground were great. A top away day and with the wind in the right direction, the trip from Nottingham is straightforward, other than getting through Birmingham but that is just Birmingham. Good atmosphere too with noise coming from all over the ground, will definitely be back soon one way or another Enjoy the trip to Nottingham. Was speaking to a few fans after the game who expect you to sell out your 4,000 allocation, hope you do, will make for a great atmosphere at the City Ground. Top tip, our goalkeeping situation is not very strong at all, get some shots on target and see what happens You Reds (works both ways). 90+2 to be accurate, after a 90+1 equaliser Of course, every supporter wants to be in the Premier League but just be aware it comes at a high cost for those of us who are outside the so called "top six" and enjoy the game in its purest form, in some ways, I enjoyed the game more in the Championship, I hope that makes sense. Soo much is sacrificed once you get into the Premier League. Maybe just me being an old git or maybe that is just my club being ran the way it is.
