I know they've just scored an equaliser and I know this sounds way over the top, but those finishes are out of the very top drawer. So pleased for the lad.

The players are better than they're being made out to be. We can definitely get more out of them. Squad looks devoid of confidence and the right mentality to me.

I don't think you get the characters on the pitch any more either. Not as many charismatic players as there once was. Players just seem to go with no emotional investment in them.

Amazing really. Their fans were in the doldrums following their dismal form. They then beat Cheltenham's youth team and sign a few players at the tail-ends of their careers, and suddenly there's belief they're going to win the league!!

Routine win for Canelo. Efficient as always. Found the body regularly and did what he said he was going to do.

Absolutely brilliant performance. The commitment and skill of the players is a joy to behold. Pat Lam and his background staff deserve a hell a lot of credit. When people talk about an ethos or culture at a club you're sometimes left struggling to grasp exactly what that actually is. With the Bears, however, it's clear to see what they're all about. I only started going to watch the rugby for the social side of things when Bristol made the switch to AG. But as time went on became more and more interested in it. I really, really don't like to say it, but I'm currently enjoying the rugby more than the football, and I think it's been like it for a while unfortunately. Another sad thing being that the fans haven't been present in person to watch the Bears recent success. A shame for everyone connected with the club.
