I thought it was fantastic before kick off and prior to them scoring and then went quiet till early 2nd half when the south stand corner started to get the crowd going again. Didn’t hear Dolman block A at all. I was a little disappointed with the atmosphere. It was like everyone was dragged into watching how well Man City were playing and concentrating on the likes of Foden etc.

From Tin mans comments last night sounds like Seb Palmer-Houlden is going to be training with the first team squad as they’ve been impressed with his numbers while on loan.

I wondered if we would see loans for Bell, Towler and Owers? They all need game time and experience. Kadji and Pring also but the squad is to small for to many loans.

Where is Sam Bell currently? Not in squads or even in the League Cup squad last week where a lot of the fringe players played. Surely we will be looking for a loan for him today?

I’ve said in previous posts that he would have been top of my list for a striker we should have been looking at if Wells went, unfortunately we were never going to be able to compete with our current situation. @Davefevs looked at his numbers and he was very good. The sort of gamble we should have been taking if the timing was right.

I’ve heard that Idehen is going out on loan, so that would make sense with this link.

Interesting how Idehen has fallen behind Towler in the pecking order, towards end of last season he was infront of Towler, seems like Towler has had a good preseason after NP mentioned him in his BBC interview yesterday. what’s happened to Marlee Francois? I thought he has been training with 1st team but not been in any u23 squads yet.
