I've noticed this post on the events page from a Rovers fan planning to wear a City shirt on Saturday to raise money for the Children's Hospital.
He's put it in a place people won't see it so thought I'd highlight it. @Moderator- is there any way to convert his event into a thread on the board so it gets a bit more attention as people might want to contribute.
I saw the thread on their forum about this while having a look at their feelings on their season to date etc and most of them just picked up on the City connection and overlooked the cause he's raising cash for - in part I'm sure resulting in contributions of only a couple of hundred quid via 25 donations.
Am sure we can prove we can put rivalry aside and help with a decent cause - I'll do so on pay day tomorrow.

Any idea how to listen to commentary these days?
FM radio has a rugby match on Somerset Sound and the Sags on Radio Bristol for some weird reason even though they are at home
Digital radio has some awful programme called Squad Goals or something which is just the same as Soccer Saturday but on the radio

If they change it, these original ones will be worth a few quid in years to come.
Like the old Sex Pistols picture sleeves for God Save the Queen on A&M and The Great Rock n Roll Swindle with an AMEX card on the cover.

Why? Because you don’t agree with it?
No, because the bloke hasn’t set it up in his real name and have you read his narrative that accompanies the link?
As for if I agree with it or not, it’s a cross about 3 inches in diameter of which half of it is a different colour so not significant enough to affect my day.
Got more on my plate to take up my thoughts than that.

Say the same every year but I really wish there was some recognition of fan loyalty whereby a sliding scale of discount is offered relative to consecutive years you've been a ST holder.
Also - really dont understand the reduced prices for over 65s. Most of them have far more disposible income than someone still bringing up kids and paying a hefty mortgage. I said most, not all, before the old duffers get on my case......

Give it away then, there will be groups that will happily take it off his hands. He won’t miss the money. That’s not me being facetious, and being free with his money, it’s a genuine option.
Exactly. He’d ultimately be better off anyway as he writes our debts off

Perhaps the S82 bloke with the megaphone or one of our other “ultras” should get themselves up the training ground and start bricking windscreens

Were the empty seats available for purchase in the first place though or do City hold some back so as not to trigger the “consecutive big crowd” clause which would mean they need to implement and fund a parking scheme……

Anyone know when the tv games are announced? Can’t buy until the date is confirmed.
Same as working away for the Tuesday but would be OK for Wednesday.
However, as the Rovers site is stating their game is on the Weds we must be Tuesday?
For the sake of a tenner I may just buy my ticket and pass it on if need be anyway though.

Wish I’d been aware of this as would have attended.
A truly cruel disease that sadly my mum is in the latter stages of suffering and I’m sure many others on here have been affected by it at some point.
