Champagne moment - Joe Sims sofa interview with Jon, It was such a reassurance to learn that the club is in such capable hands. -

You've done it now.......I'll give it 30 minutes before he starts. It was by the way -
No different to the barge in the back on Nhaki on Friday, there's no consistency.

Let's hope the radio is already tuned to RB then, or you could be in for a boring afternoon -
Why ? Can't he get a proper job?

Pay the tenner you tight git ! -
Unfortunately it looks like Cott's will be relegated for the first time in his management career. But to his credit he took on a club that were dead and buried and he has improved them but he hasn't any real quality to work with or enough time to turn it around. A lot of managers wouldn't have touched them but he has given it a go. If he wants to stay I'm sure he'll put together a team to have a real go at getting back up - he has a great knowledge of every EFL player and he'll find a few good characters to turn them around.
-
We wanted to sign him in permanently in January but Burnley were asking for more than we were willing to pay - there's no indication that Burnley will ask for less in the summer. So probably unlikely .

Nowhere near a top 6 side, the ownership set false expectations when they brought in LM. Lots of work to do in the summer. -

I'd forgotten that, shows what an egotistical **** LJ is. I also recall Danny Wilson ( I know I've done it now- sorry) avoiding shaking Tinnion's hand after the game on his first time back with (I think) MK -

" Get the right man in". There's the problem right there - Jon and BT picked Manning, SL picked LJ, between them they just can't get it right - and when they occasionally do as in the case of Cott's and Nige, SL screws it up by shooting the messenger who tells him what needs to be done. -

More likely that Nigel has shown his class and declined to commentate on our game so soon after his dismissal - any analysis that was critical of our play could come over as sour grapes . Whatever we think of Manning and his awful football Nigel probably respects him as a fellow manager and wants to let him get on with his job without his predessor commenting on his performance. Did Cott's ever cover our games after he was sacked, I don't recall any? -
Whilst I accept that it's become fashionable for players to do these pod interviews as LT has done, the stories are all told long after the event when all concerned have moved on or retired. I just don't believe that players would slag off their current manager to a fan , and not just one player but every player you spoke to? It's obvious bullshit and made up to fit your agenda. Everyone can see it.

He can't

Ah! You seem quite knowledgeable about MI6, are you a spy by any chance? Is the character you present - thick internet troll - simply a devastatingly clever cover story to cover your real identity?
-
You're right, he's done with us now. I think he told Jon to get his ass back from Bermuda, front up , and start earning his inheritance. We won't hear from him again until he finds a buyer and he crows about his legacy and what a fantastic club he's passed on. That could be a while though

Bath City now live on TNT 3 - some of our loanees start
CodeRed replied to BCFCGav's topic in Football Chat
And Tommy Conway more recently. -
10 teams in the Premiership, 8 teams are live on TV over Easter.......Glos v Bristol the only game not being shown.
-
It's not on the TNT/Discovery+ red button unfortunately, the only way to watch live is on PRTV @ £4.99. Or- as I said - wait 24 hours and they show a free full match replay on demand. It's difficult to avoid knowing the score though. I believe TNT are going to show every English Premiership game live next season so every Bears game will be available, either on the main channels or via red button
-
It's live on the internet on Premier Rugby TV - for £ 4.99 - if you want to pay. Alternatively if you want to avoid knowing the score PRTV show the game in full 24 hours after the match finishes - for free, something to watch "live" on Sunday - after Liverpool v Brighton and Man C v Arsenal live on Sky , you won't need to leave the sofa all day.
-
Exactly, someone looks at Bristol City - they're going nowhere, poor leadership on and off the pitch.....let's throw our money in there ??? The quote from the new Ipswich investor was " we invest in people and the management team at Ipswich are doing a fantastic job" Is someone investing £100M in Tinnion ??!
-
I haven't watched them in full, I did watch a bit of the first one to see what they were about and he talked quite well as he does without really saying anything of any substance, just basic advice that anyone would know like - do your research and make sure you prepare for any manager job you're applying for - he does like to name drop though, we learn Kenny Dalgleish rates Lee highly and recommended him for the Oldham job. Brian Marwood is a big fan of him too. Mentioned Lansdown a few times so maybe he thinks there's a route back in
