  1. I'm not worried , after all we did beat Southampton
  2. Yes, he can't wait to leave Coventry and work for the Teknikal Director, Crayon Boy, and our interfering owner. Dream job
  3. Exactly, compare the £1M spent on Mehmeti with the £900k Swansea spent on Joel Piroe - a player they fished out of PSV Eindhoven's reserve team, and the £1M Coventry spent on Gyokeres who was initially in Brighton's u21's before Cov got him on loan prior to perm signing. Brighton having found him in a Swedish second division side who's named I can't pronounce let alone write! and paid around 1M euros. Both moved on for big profits. BT has said he's directing Gillespie & co to find a striker abroad but I doubt we have the network or contacts to get such value as the examples above.
  4. That probably was a factor - SL said to Jon "you need to appoint a manager like Eddie Howe" and Jon took it literally
  5. He's not up to the job, he certainly doesn't warrant a " war chest" . I've seen us play under every manager since Fred Ford and he's comfortably the worst by far, on every metric..........tactics, style of play, in game management, communication, signings, connection with the fans, and his absolving himself of any responsibility whatsoever for the total shitshow we are witnessing. He needs to go.Now.
  6. Subs late this week, 62 minutes and no subs, has Manning fallen asleep?
  7. The 2 Baggies commentating are really irritating, giggling away like a couple of schoolgirls.
  8. If the game is on WBA ifollow why is it not on RTV?
  9. At the time SL said in interview that he phoned Danny to inform him of some budget cuts for the next season, one of which was dispensing with the services of the sports psychologist that Danny was using and SL thought unnecessary , DW disagreed and in SL's words " I decided I couldn't work with him anymore and sacked him" I was struck by the phrase ' I decided ' because back then we still had a board but SL unilaterally made the decision and saw no reason to involve or discuss it with other board members. It's always been Steve's way or the highway.
  10. If only, it's painful to listen.
  11. But the club are happy to take your money even though they obviously know most people are in the UK and using VPN's. It's an income stream they're happy to accept. So yes they should refund.
  12. I'm sure he's not doing it for the money, he comes over as relishing the challenge and wanting to use his knowledge to help them and the young players and I think he wants to work with good people. He will have earned the money if he keeps them up though, they were absolutely gone when Deeney left.
  13. Is that good or bad?
  14. Let's hope he can find the Gents later when the call arrives
  15. Yeah, my late brother in law always maintained that you can't watch Bristol City sober, you have to anaesthetize yourself to the inevitable upcoming pain.

    BT

OK ? He had less EFL management experience than LJ when he was appointed and MK were bottom of the league when he was sacked. I was going to say he's learning on the job but he's not actually even doing that.

    BT

Exactly, shows what a f uckwit BT is to think Manning could lead this club, 2 minutes listening to him drone on and I'd be 'thanks we'll be in touch and watch the door doesn't bang your ass on the way out'
  18. The problem is that we pivot between these two types as every appointment is a knee jerk opposite reaction against the previous manager/coach The 3 you name all had several promotions on CV's, if you want promotion - hire someone who's done it.
  19. Exactly, we've all seen and heard enough to know he's not up to the job at this level. He can't change, and he won't change becomes he thinks his processes are right and he thinks it's all the players fault. Manning and Hogg think and act as one. It's now a case of when and not if he goes, I expect we'll pick up the odd win and limp through to the end of the season because crayon boy hasn't got the bollox to do anything other than keep his head down and stay out of the way. The whole cycle will start again round about October when the Lansdowns will have no choice but to sack him and then we will see their ineptitude take centre stage again as they dither around wondering what to do next. They will of course appoint an experienced man ( they always do after the rookie fails ) who will begin doing what needs to be done but will themselves be fired when they tell SL what's needed and he doesn't like it and shoots the messenger. Again And on it goes...
  20. The problem for me is our form and confidence is getting worse by the game so I'm not even confident of him replicating that dismal number of points. It would be so Bristol City to self inflict relegation on ourselves from a comfortable position by virtue of yet another poor decision by the Lansdowns.
  21. The OP asked for your favourite film.....not where you watched it
  22. From the Teknikle Direkter ?
  23. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Godfather 1 Godfather 2 Pulp Fiction Shawshank Deer Hunter Day of the Jackal Good fellas Shows my age I guess, all quite old!
