It's a blatent penalty, not in the least as that clip doesn't show the build up of the Pompey player having his shirt almost ripped off Amateur hour Rovers as usual , sooooo weird the chairman tweeting like that
-
Also the fact our away support is close to the worse in the league. Pearson will still get asked to praise the fans though
-
Brilliant from Conte I'd love the same from Pearson here when his time is up
-
Fantastic from Kompany, I agree with every word he says Patrick Vieira: Vincent Kompany says sacking of Crystal Palace does not sit well with him - BBC Sport

I would say the area around AG is a glorified industrial estate out of the centre....?
-
I totally disagree, he's at least the same level of the majority of the u21 midfield with the exception of probably Harvey Elliott and maybe Oliver Skipp
-
Great news, he has progressed so well this season and will only get better

I'm gutted we didn't get it. The Gate is too small for our ambitions, we have only approx 2k to 3k home seats (exc Atyeo) spare per game average whilst dithering around the bottom half of the Championship. We would easily fill the 22k with season tickets upon promotion. Look at Brighton going from strength to strength with large crowds and success. Is there any possibility of extending the Dolman and South Stand? Mind you I'm even more gutted we are located in a ' postindustrial miscellany of parking lots, warehouses, fast-food restaurants, building sites and terraced housing' as correctly described by the New York Times rather than slap bang in the middle of the City

World Cup format for 48-team expanded competition
cidercity1987 replied to WessexPest's topic in Football Chat
Absolutely, those qualifiers are less likely to reach the latter stages so not going to be playing 10 games. But for some of the 16-32 ranked teams they'll play more than the usual 3 in a World Cup which would have been great. -
World Cup format for 48-team expanded competition

If it needs to be 48 teams, then a 3 team group is pathetic as fans would travel for only two games, but the solution is also very bad to have uncompetitive groups as top 3 go through, too many games and more games per team. Did they think about having a preliminary stage for the outsiders with only a few going through to the main group stage of 32? -

Wait until we grab their next out of contract player who isn't quite good enough for the parachute clubs -
I said 61 a few weeks back and I would be pleased with that plus hopefully a top half finish. Top 10 looks beyond us but let's not let the season drift and lose our morale ahead of next season

Quite enjoyed that in the end, we battled hard and made Luton look as average as us in the second half Bloody hope they don't get promoted, nothing good about having that ragtag club in the Prem -

Games like this we miss a big lump up front to hold it up Luton look the best Champ team we've played for months. We gave Man City more of a game, so far -

About three of them in a row gave it away Think they'll be too much for us tonight, they look very physical -
Because we are a loss making entity who need to reduce that loss to comply with FFP, whilst remaining competitive to hopefully achieve future sporting success?

Cheap as chips I predict record season ticket sales, particularly if our form continues, and an even more empty sold out South Stand next season
-
Neil has finally turned it around there as Pearson has done here Expect both clubs to be challenging next season

Crap crap crap How did we go from the perfect 16 for the Euros and 32 for the WC to the current monstrosities. The group stages in both competitions are beyond meaningless now as 3rd often goes through
