  1. Preston are the team I would want our no penalty run to end against The amount of subjective decisions which go against us versus them is totally ridiculous This game for example was fully influenced by the ref. Two pens for Preston (one a Johnson dive, one a handball which is always debatable, a foul on our defender for their third, Diedhiou winner disallowed) https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49778243
  2. It certainly looks like a much changed , more risky squad than a month ago. We have lost a lot of experience but brought in some excitement if you include Bell coming through. A little light in defence and a player too many in attacking areas perhaps
  3. Can he play centre forward? The focal point of the three
  4. I think that shows his level of drop off between Spring 2022 and Autumn 2022. Up until then he was a very worthy Champ level player
  5. Nice place to live, a bit out of the way for some people on one hand, too close to Yate on the other? The primary school is going downhill apparently if that's of any relevance Rose and Crown, nice welcoming village pub
  6. Is tweeting his birthday official enough for Robbored? It is for me Happy days
  7. What's his downsides? Can't defend or something? Just wondering NR
  8. If this lad is so good why arent other clubs queuing up and why would he come here? Just wondering as on the highlights he looks bang on
  9. Big relief all around Disappointing 3.5 years for all parties Our most overrated player for at least a decade , I'll never forget the fans creaming themselves about a 70% pass completion, sideways
  10. Not the perfect draw but a great one nonetheless. Can't wait to see Haaland (possibly), Alvarez, De Bruyne another time down the Gate. And more importantly it'll be a pleasure to see Scott against them, might put another £10m on his price tag
  11. Leicester at home would be a decent high profile and winnable tie
  12. Just to jump in here but it was a deliberate heavy touch to a) ensure the defender couldn't get back and b) draw the keeper ready for a chip again Didn't quite work for the third but certainly did for his second
  13. On what planet do they have any chance of promotion They need to win almost every game to reach the same extrapolated points as 6th place, they've just been smashed by a club who were in the relegation zone and have lost more than they've won. Midtable fodder as is always their best hope in that league
  14. Smashing out Gas logic here but they are bound to get pumped by eight in a few games time 24th January Ipswich 4 - 0 Morecambe 28th January Morecambe 5 - 1 Rovers 14th February Rovers v Ipswich???
  15. Nige said yesterday that no-one is a replacement for Semenyo. How true I understand the finances but it is disappointing that guy filling Semenyo's place is not an up and coming excitement from League One but this lad who cannot get in Luton's team
  16. Come on City fans, lets raise more for the guy than the Roverrrrrsssssss
  17. I would say his summer injury and subsequent poor form up until December has cost us at least £5m And cost Semenyo a proper Prem club What a shame
  18. He looks like a jolly nice guy Welcome 6 month deal?
  19. Good move for everyone Thanks for your service Bentley
  20. Good for Bentley Wages are in excess of talent in my opinion, therefore good than he has gone if he wont resign for less
  21. They look like threatening lower midtable very soon That play off push is a distant distant dream
