Why do the clever lads on here think we are a mid table team?
I know what I've seen
An incredible attacking team that needs to keep it tight and we could get autos
Well I am surprised no one came in for Semenyo at a figure we would trade at. I thought he would be bargain £15m-£20m for a midtable Prem team like Palace.
Seems risky for us to keep him from an FFP perspective especially considering we have plenty of other decent strikers.
Pretty average to poor performance I thought actually and might have lost if Huddersfield had anyone to put the ball in the net.
Sign of a good team to win nonetheless and Semenyo is basically cheat mode at this level
Does Nige need to be a bit more pragmatic with his line ups?
We have a fantastic strikeforce but do we need effectively three of them on the pitch at once?
Would we be more solid with an extra centre midfielder?
Do we need our wing backs so high up the pitch?
I looked at the E365 timelines, funny how they had Blackpool 'winning' on expected goals. Any idea what the difference is between that and yours above?
Looking at our expected goal timeline from yesterday, we didn't have a single chance from scoring the third to the end of the game. Very disappointing not to push on again as we are always vulnerable to a late equaliser
I'm not sure the relevance of this table tbf. As you suggested above, we aren't a team that will take pot shots from 30 yards unlike others. We build up to create a better chance and maybe therefore not get a shot in at all.
Any stats on goals/long shots? That would be interesting to see if we should be shooting more from distance
Let's see where they are at the end of the season. They are trying to get in a striker in, combined with their obviously incredible defence and I would say they have a chance of play offs
