There isn't much that can be said to defend the clubs on this one! We all know that fixtures can change, but 8 days notice should not even be allowed by the League, let alone chosen and agreed by the clubs. Right decision but TOTALLY WRONG timing. This simply should not have happened now. It doesn't make any difference to me, but I really do feel for all those that are affected, from both sets of fans.

We have been doing that for years! Depending on the category of fixture. I believe we were one of the first clubs at the time to increase stewarding and have "policeless" matches.
