I'm not trying to put you off, just trying to be clear that it is high risk, but with prices depressed at the moment, there is possibly more chance of a return than if you bought 4 months back.

I’d echo this last paragraph. I started investing in February. Smallish amounts. However one of the coins I’ve invested most in has dropped 60% from what I paid for them all.

the amount I’ve put in though is an amount im comfortable if I didn’t see it again. Also going forward only will put in what I don’t mind losing on a monthly basis or can afford that month. Trying to avoid impulse buying as well, as even if goes down now slightly, could be further drops to happen.

I’m also trying to spread the coins I have invested in as well. So I’m not all eggs in one basket. I’m currently in that position as 75% of mine are in one coin to enable me to get a debit card from the company I’m using.

Caught a bit of the Lakeside.. not exactly heaving..

just turned it on and very empty tonight. Saw a bit of one match last night and was busier but still nowhere near a full house.

I was under the impression that meant they had to come out of admin before next season…but someone else said that’s not the case.

I thought the same but it seems not.

I think it’s because they didn’t start this season in admin, only went in part way through. So can start the next season in admin but couldn’t start 23/24 still in admin.

Ed Sheeran sponsors Ipswich doesn't he? Think Jake Bugg sponsored someone like Notts County too?

I agree it should be a charity for the final 6 weeks, seeing as Mansion Bet are shut.

If they've paid the money for the season (or still going to honour any outstanding payments) then I'm guessing it has to remain as city would be in a breach of contract. Also still the casino site they have so still advertising their brand even if the betting business has gone. If they went bust and failed to pay any money due, then it would be breach of contract and city could take it off and put something else on there instead.

Heardle is quite fun - although good luck getting today's!

Similar sort of thing, but you have to get the artist/song in as little time as possible.

I’ll give this one a go as play similar to this with the missus in the car to guess it before DAB shows you the title.

got todays in 1 second. So hopefully keep that up!

Imho their fate is already known:

    • relegation to Lg1
    • start 22/23 season in Lg1 on minus 15 points

thats what you’re bidding for, with a gamble that Derby might still be in the Championship, but that glimmer of hope is disappearing / has disappeared.

Administrators need to provide proof of funds to get through the rest of this season.

Derby must come out of admin ahead of next season, rules are such that you cannot start a season still in admin.

I thought that they could start the next season in Admin still. As when Wigan went down they were still in Admin after the next season had started.

I'd argue Bell should be tighter to Kalas (essentially taking maatsen from Benarous) and allow the switch of play if Coventry want it at which point Bell goes to close, now whether that should be Kalas organising that is another thing given Bell isn't a RB/RWB

I’d agree with that Bell is too wide on photos 4 & 5. He also has visibility of the striker on his own as he’s in front of him. Kalas may not have seen him as he was the other side and would expect his right back to be a bit closer.

Think it does highlight playing a striker at right back has its risks when it comes to defending and positioning.

I’m really torn between wanting Derby to be saved (for the sake of staff and their good fans) and them to go bust as it will show a big club can go under…and hopefully lead to positive reform.  Bury weren’t big enough unfortunately to trigger the right changes.

If they do go bust the individual(s) involved in causing the financial issues can still just walk away without any fallout from it. Whilst Morris may have lost some of his money he’s invested in the club during his tenure, he has walked away from 30+ mil of debt that he left on the clubs books and made it someone else’s problem.

I’m not sure what that would do to stop it happening again with another owner at another club. Where has ambition and throw money around. Then get bored or don’t realise the costs and just walk away and leave a boat load of debt.

Wigan being slightly different being a new owner to Chuck them straight into Admin, however didn’t want to fund it and just dropped them.

If Derby disappeared before the end of the season, would it still be 3 going down?

    I'm guessing it would.

And we'd also lose the 3 points gained in beating them.

All of which would drop us right in the mire.

Would be ones less team relegated from each division. The same number as normal still go up from the division below.

Plus an extra promotion from L2 to L1 and from the National League into L2 to make it back up to 72 EFL clubs in 3 sets of 24. Think I've got the maths right there?

I thought it was one less team gets relegated from each division instead of an extra going up. So 2 down from champ to league with 3 up.
3 down from league 1 to 2 instead of 4. 1 down to the national league instead of 2.

Personally i don’t think it’s a penalty but i didn’t think Norris was a penalty in Austria or others. Now they need to be consistent not change things just because there’s a championship at stake.

Hopefully they can start 2022 with fewer penalties and let the drivers sort things out between them which could make things interesting

When they showed the Austria footage and if that had been a gravel trap in Brazil like that I’m sure would have been a penalty there. Like what happened with Norris and Perez

20+ years ago tackles like Tanners were happening all over the pitch at a much more regular occurrence. It makes you realise it’s one of the reasons why the atmosphere always seemed a bit more raucous back then, when you see and hear the effect the tackle had on the crowd.

Especially more so when it was a derby game. Tackles like that would fly it a little bit more often. Nowadays on the pitch it looks like they’re lining up against any other team than a rival on derby day.  Where everyone stands and stays on their feet.

  13. I read this from the Sun this morning about Mel losing 200m during his time as owner.

Also says no new owners would want to fund 3m losses each month. If perhaps he’d run a tighter ship and adhered to FFP rules he wouldn’t have been spunking so much money out each month. Plus spending like he was fuels other clubs to also try and keep up.
