Once Leicester batter us 12-0 on Friday, I should imagine there’ll be a few more returns on the OS…

I thought he was out injured anyway has he come back and got injured again ?
He picked up his injury just over 2 weeks ago and was ruled out for 3 weeks so another week to go if he’s on track. However, as he’s now our player, he’ll be out for 7 months. He’ll be back out on the grass 44 times before then.

Like Latham a lot but he won’t accept any criticism whatsoever of Lansdown, however valid.
Times have moved on & SL needs to sell up.
Agreed. The only point I disagreed with him on.

A really enjoyable listen (as the vast majority of episodes are). The minute I saw that Richard Latham was on it, I just knew it was going to be a good one. The bloke oozes class and talks nothing but sense. A shame you can’t get him on a little more often throughout the season.

How is it fair that League 2 FGR have a better manager than us?

Was it really that long ago? Seems like yesterday
Still grates on me that game. We didn’t even need to win - all we had to do was NOT LOSE and we would have relegated them. Felt pissed off with the club for the whole summer after that

Matt Taylor quite spectacular on RB
Can change players or formations but it won’t change the outcomes, players not interesting in going towards the ball, can’t defend their players for the goals they’re conceding
Sounds like he’s had enough already tbh
“Nothing to play for? What about personal pride?”
Beat me to it. Was going to say that it sounds like their manager has already given up. Really enjoyable interview

Had to clean my ears out several times to make sure I heard this right but yes Matt Taylor, in his pre-match press conference (3m19s in), really did say:
“The biggest pleasing aspect that today, I don’t think we gave away a foul throw”

Steven Caulker (if we can include loans) and Dave Cotterill

They were very bland - made wish that GT hadn’t retired.
Talking a lot without saying anything of substance is just like LJ and his father before him……….……
That said LM is very inexperienced at Championship level but probably realises how fans will hang on every word and that realisation led to the rather dull and insipid interview on RB - he certainly wouldn’t want to create any controversy and consequently was very careful in what he said.Hopefully when he’s more comfortable in the role his communication skills will improve.
Agreed. When I switched on and realised it was Ed Hadwin presenting, I nearly had to switch off. A competent commentator but a pretty dull presenter and interviewer.

Readings first point in 6 games..
Boy, were they crap.
Pikeys a tad better, not a lot in it, both crap.
Am I glad we are not in that division anymore, watching that brought back some rotten memories. Didn't seem to be that many there, sub 10k maybe.
Actually 11,726
Away 2,735 (or 3k according to the blue few))
2,735 - round it up to 10,000 using Gas logic

Ffs. Was planning on meeting se
mates at Hammersmith. Is there another easy option to get from Paddington to Hammersmith
The number 27 bus from outside Paddington station - runs every 10 minutes and takes half an hour. Either that or Bakerloo Line to Piccadilly Circus then Piccadilly line to Hammersmith. But the bus would actually be slightly quicker.

The last 15 minutes of this pod are well worth a listen. Great input from Davefevs and Ian about the current state of affairs at the Club.
What a sham.
Couldn’t agree more. A really enjoyable listen that.
