Fairest assessment that I've seen. They were a bloody good team and we were complete and utter crap tonight. Could've been a disaster and a 4 or 5 nil or worse but somehow we managed to keep it to two. Shows how much we need to improve, very very rarely happens overnight but we can get there, just going to take time. Brighton have been up there for a while and are a team we need to aspire to. No shame in losing to them, just the manner in which we did, in front of the cameras, was a shame. But we will get there. May take a few seasons but we will, I have no doubt.

I went to the Bath game the week before (another free ticket courtesy of a friend) and felt quite confident off the back of that performance yesterday, even though we lost. But yesterday was shocking, embarrassing even. Sale were a pretty average team but played us off the park. We were second to every ball, every breakdown and just kicked aimlessly. There is no way in the world that I would pay the £30+ odd that it would cost to watch usually with the state of the team currently, just couldn't justify it but hopefully that changes. Real shame but it seems a complete overhaul is needed.

Sorry to hear that Hav, your Dad sounds like he was a true gentlemen and one of a generation that we all should be so very proud and thankful for. All the best and my condolences to you and your family.

Just back home. We were poor tonight but it happens. They were terrible. Really terrible. We should be beating them but it's the championship. If I can think of any more cliches I'll let you know.

Overheard some G*sheads at work today. Apparently they are going to boycott the Checkatrade games but they are going tonight as 'this ones an exception as its Yeovil'. Can see the reasoning as its a local derby against a bigger team but it's one or the other surely! #gaslogic
