Disciple - The Wait is OVER
-
the longest house move ever means more boxes to clear and just found Take Your Seats Issue 1 - with Jackie on the cover - letters page is made up funny stuff
Got to be worth far more than the cover price (50p) - couple of thousand quid maybe..........................
I also have The Bounty Hunter and Ultra - I wonder how many independent Fanzines we have had - OTIB seems the vehicle of choice for most now - not sure online fanzines count - got to be paper really for me

Positives: Clarks Pie
Now - I LOVE a Clarks Pie - I have no idea what is in them but I love'em. I often buy the tray of 10 (get 2 free) and bring em back to Zummerset for the Family
BUT - I had one the other day - lovely and then - something not as minced as normal and pretty grim - impossible to chew and looked like an ear when I spat it into a tissue - it did make me feel a bit funny for 10 minutes - but I still look forward to the next one..

Blimey - one wonders where this thread is going -
different views but I knew (know) some CSF and all the ones I know (apart from enjoying a ruck with a rival firm which some find odd) were/are good people and enjoyable to share a beer with - never looking to impact on innocents/bystanders - I followed City for 45 years, I still don't see it as an inconvenience - yes football had a bad rep but to me at the time and now it was part of the whole experience - I have stood at away games with hundreds/thousands of City away fans when a rumble happened and a chant of CSF went up and pretty much everyone of us applauded and cheered - I did not see many sneering or growling with disdain

Genuinely interested in knowing how many people have been assaulted at a game whilst trying to avoid trouble? My own personal experience over some 50 years is that you can avoid trouble if you want to. I’m not saying that you can avoid threatening situations but if you go mute when asked the time and are respectful of the place you are visiting then in the main, you’ll be fine.
I have said before - Leicester away - two of us were in the vicinity of the ground and I think they were the "baby squad" or something - they did start to provoke an incident and we were in danger of a bit of a beating - when the CSF arrived (hurrah) and the Baby Squad legged it - I am not condoning anything but still grateful to the CSF to this day. BUT - in my time home and away that is the only time I ever saw it (exception Italy 1980 I think - that was a bit rough at times)...

if some nutcase like that was coming at me at night - the last thing I would have the foresight to do is take a picture? I would be running

Barton Hill youth club was my hang out but didn’t see the Banshees there. Did have a ticket to see the Pistols at the Bamboo club but it Burned down, absolutely gutted. One group I’m glad I saw, was a bit later, the Virgin Prunes at Trinity. Took my Mrs to see them when we were courting. She still wonders what she witnessed even now.
That would have been good (The Prunes) I have some of their stuff and remember seeing them on Whistle Test or something just insane - would have been worth seeing

I am sort of hoping that some of the bids on some items are just not real per se, and certain accounts are bidding stupidly on purpose to pee off the seller, so they just won't pay at the end of the auction.
To try and get people to pay just isn't worth the hassle, even though it is so say "a binding contract". The scummy seller then has to start over again.
I hope so to - that item I alluded to just ended - check the price

I've just had an email from Sky saying they're going to increase my subscription by £5 a month. It's pretty poor timing given that there is absolutely nothing on TV at the moment aside from Coronavirus news coverage!
they asked me for £60 to downgrade my package by removing sport!

eBay should be removing all adverts that are cashing in on this (according to their own T&Cs), this is where I do get very cynical though - the higher the prices due to demand then the more money they make from the sellers....

would have liked to have seen the Dead Kennedys - one of my best gigs was the Cramps (bit after punk really) 1980 at Trinity Hall - about a year after they supported the Police at the Locarno
-
Becki B was from Bristol I think?
Clem Burke (Drummer Blondie) is playing at the Thunderbolt next week (Thursday I think) with a band called the Tearaways - I shall pop up for a visit - certainly worth the £12 or so - I will wear colours in case any other City turn up
(the emoji is a safety pin)!

Saw loads - Stranglers Exhibition - I am sure there was spitting and Hugh leapt off stage and poleaxed some geezer with his guitar  - never saw the Clash (grrrrr)
had (still have) a ticket for the Pistols at the Bamboo Club
Can even remember seeing Siouxie at YATE and Blondie - saw the Damned backing T REX and left after the Damned (fool that I was)
