Sorry....but realism is kicking in here. We are seriously putting our hopes in a player who wasn't good enough for League one last year, and the the Times I seen him....looked bang average at league 2 level. The fact we seem to be linked with any striker who has scored at Championship level....yet It's clear to see our big issues are midfield, really baffles me.

I'm not trying to criticise our lads. Quite the opposite. I feel for them. I personally feel they have been let down by the clubs inability to sign players this summer. It's a big jump up in standard and they needed help.

I have a firm grip. Just being realistic. We haven't strengthened and today, it sounds like we have been totally schooled

Admittedly I'm not there....but....passion will only get you so far. Sheffield Wed are a good established team in this league, with good players. We have failed to strengthen this summer and from what it sounds like, it's showing massively

Shame really. Don't think we have created a chance and could sense that goal coming. We clearly need to add some real experience if we want to compete this season

Just had a text from a friend who has gone on then official 'CATS'....apparently they have got stuck slap bang in the middle of central London by Tower Bridge and will be struggling to make kick off. One organiser has got off and got the tube as they are carrying a load of tickets that are to be collected at the ground ...and another fan has got off and decided to make his own way to the ground

The fact of the matter is this...those that have been watching them regularly can clearly see we have looked tired and jaded. We have a small squad and the amount of football we are playing....it was always going to catch up with us. The two teams who have actually come at us...Sheffield Utd and Colchester today, have found it easy. The worrying thing is there is no chance of rest....pretty much Tuesday / Saturday for the next few weeks.

Whats going on? Apparently we were gonna wipe the floor with these today according to some? Bare in mind we haven't really wiped the floor with anyone this season, some still thought we would. A serious wake up call for some fans and the players by the sound of it
