  1. Difficult to believe that one man's ego can become so developed that he can sit in a stadium of 63.000 people (who apart from other very wealthy cronies and arse lickers) believe he is a tyrannical, despotic dictator who is ruining their football club and he doesn't care and must believe they're wrong, even though the word has got around all the top managers in the world and no ****er wants to come to Spurs.
  2. Saw him at Loftus Road, rangy, nasty, gurt bastard. Just what we need. We've been too nice for decades. BCFCGav says this could be the important signing, I totally agree, especially If he's mates with Sykes, he's definitely got the nasty in him. Speaking to my window cleaner whose from Belfast. He told me Sykes if from the toughest part of Belfast. Explains a lot.
  3. Kennilworth Road could become a fortress for Luton and therefore their sole(?) source of points and even contribute to survival for a short time? I'll tell you why. Tuesday 27th august 1996/7 season .......... AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! ......A date seared in my memory Went with my little boy who found it totally captivating that we had to go through some old dears back garden to get to the away end. Then all down the left side of the pitch ARE BEACH CHALETS!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!. If that juxtaposition doesn't seriously send the away hard nuts away reeling and speechless, chattering amongst themselves and missing the game then what? Next to say their fans are vile would be a kindness. Horrible animals. They beat us 5 nil, yes that's right. Their goalie (cheeky ****er) even came up near the half way line to take a potshot!! Cole Skuse was new to the team and made it obvious how p*** por he thought the others were playing One of theirs was a penalty by that cretin Kevin Nicholls (next in line for the head of the Orcs) and didn't that ****er make the most of winding us up when it went in. BUT 5 NIL WASN'T ENOUGH FOR THEM!!!!!!!! That's why they are vile and to be feared?? On the way back to the station they were giving 2 fingers and other lovely salutations to a 6 year old boy and his dad
  4. 'tomorrow never knows Each day just goes so fast You turn around it's past ...................................."
  5. Best bit ever is when Del Boy falls over in the pub when the barman leaves the side flap of the bar top open. How does David Jason do that? Knowing he is about to go over, possibly very painfully and making himself look like he doesn't know it will happen. Brilliant, exraordinary acting.
  6. He is a City fan. But it takes all sorts ..............................
  7. Lads, lads, lads, we can all get along. Why make enemies out of fellow City mad ****ers?
  8. thankyou so much my friend. So great to hear the unique voice of a comedic genius. The other thing that always killed me was the way that people as famous as he was in their own field (eg Andre Previn) allowed him to grab them by the lapels and rough them up! Extraordainary
  9. Would love to hear that mate. Do you have a link please. best. SK
  10. Eric Morecambe. Genius. His only fault was being President of a certain football Club.
  11. Yes I saw that. Fair play to him. Must have found his level as you say and he must be happy to keep playing at that age
  12. Craig always got a lot of stick, inexplicably in my view. Apparently Tinnion didn't like him. What I saw was a cultured left-back who didn't get the encouragement to develop and get a regular place in the team. On his day he was more than capable of dealing with high quality players such as Izale McLeod who he blotted out of the game in our win at MK Dons in 2006. As for Danny Rose what a w***er. My memory of him was him trotting back away from the centre of play, totally uninterested in playing for Bristol City at Reading. Maybe (probably) we couldn't handle him
  13. Don't think they've done anything since the Don Rogers days in the 70s
  14. What! You're talking about the biggest Club outside the Premiership! (so they say)
  15. Slips of the fingers my friend. Yes I meant to type Old Chestnut
  16. But you do get the difference between a miss and a brilliant goal?
  17. Okay, maybe you are right but that miss has become one of the biggest if not the biggest horse chestnut trotted out by some City fans who seem to be not very bright about football. There are many, many very talented footballers who have missed even easier sitters than that one. Has Lee's miss been truly massively significant in the history of our Club? Some seem to think so because they keep on repeatedly telling us about it. I say again did you see Miller's brilliant headed goal from a corner at Grimsby Town that meant we had won 10 on the trot and went top of the League. I'd say that was something about a hundred times more worth remembering.
  18. Not this again please my friend. My not try to celebrate the brilliant header he scored at Grimsby Town when we went top after winning 10 on the trot??
  19. Scored 4 that day and hardly ever scored again for us unfortunately
  20. Disappointed with Joe in a radio interview some time ago. He said on principle he had never played for a Club that wore red.
  21. Refusing to pay employees, you missed that bit - not much different to sacking?? Despicable man. Rachel Reeves @RachelReevesMP Unacceptable that Wetherspoons has refused to pay its 40,000 employees until it receives its Govt loan - potentially in late April - after first refusing to lock down altogether. If bosses disregard employees' wellbeing then Govt should take tougher action to force compliance. 10:28 am · 24 Mar 2020
  22. I think we should boycott all the Westerspoons after what that *unt Martin did in sacking all his staff during the lockdown
  23. I feel privileged to have seen a true original like Adriano play for City. An example of his inspirational effect on the team was in the way in which he approached penalties - asking the Holy Spirit which way the ball was going to go and then seeming to fly horizontally metres above the ground across the goalmouth under the Spirit's influence and saving more than a few with this method! (including one from Darius Henderson) You have to say that Gary J had a gift in taking on special characters like him, realising their vital importance for the ethos of the team
