Will be watching a lot of Paulton Rovers games as usual. No city loanees as yet but usually end up with one or two as the season goes on. Aaron Sainsbury who was in City's academy and now coaches the academy keepers is Paulton's number 1. Have signed Kyle Tooze who has played for most teams in the area, Manor Farm in multiple stints included, and are playing him as the main striker. Scored a hat trick on debut against Lymington on Saturday.

I think he was ref who gave us a pen in the pre season friendly at Bournemouth.

Yes, he is very good in our area defending set pieces, often wins the first ball. Is it enough to keep him in the team, that is debatable ?

There is something about the young group of players at the club. Saw a few games last year and although not dominating they always found a way to win (league games anyway). Spoke to someone who was there watching this afternoon and he said we weren't great first half but again found a way to get the result. A very good characteristic to have and bodes well moving forward.

I have always said that he reminds me of someone that has just started playing. Like an under 6's game he always wants to be where the ball is and goes chasing it. Makes easy passing lines for the opposition as he is out of position. I have seen no improvement in him and have no idea what type of player he is meant to be.

Owers did ok sitting in front of back 3 keeping the ball moving side to side. Only played 45 mins though. Think Palmer-Holden had one decent effort from 25yrds that keeper saved down to his right in the 2nd half.

Found it difficult to get into the game. Seemed to be rushed into his passing once he did receive the ball. We were always a little outnumbered in the middle of the pitch. You can see he has something about him though as when receiving the ball he always has head up looking at what options he has on.

Another good learning curve for the younger lads. Big physical team were Bath. Liked the look of Harry Leeson who played RWB first half and LWB second half
