Sunderland have the record - they went approximately a full year (364 days) without a home win. Think it was 22 matches.
In fairness though, about half of that run for Sunderland was in the Premier League.
Come on lads we can get the record.

Apparently the ref was dishing out a bit of industrial language at players and management himself. Doesn’t excuse the reaction clearly BUT it’s not a clever thing to do if you want to avoid this type of incident. If you want to ref at a decent level management of players and officials is all part of it, like it or not. Sounds like the manager shook hands with the ref must have said something and got sent off when he was walking away from the ref.
The FA will no doubt get to the bottom of it taking everything into account not just our view of the video. He can expect a lengthy ban though.
I always found it quite odd that refs themselves didn't swear back at players. They get sworn at all the time in all leagues. Surely one or two of them might break and swear back at the manager/ players

£5.40!
When the "sports Bar" first opened, they stated that prices would be the same as local pubs.
Spotted Cow is £4.80 for thatchers

He had one of the best penalty run ups as well. I swear the goalies were asleep by the time he got to the ball

His brother commited one of the most wretched murders in modern history, yet not too many people are aware of it unfortunately. Hideous family, wouldn’t shed a single tear for any death of that lot, all rotten to the core are the Bartons.
I thought it was his cousin.

Has anyone got that a link to the classic Gas video where the chap is saying they are the 5th richest club please?

Just seen on points west news that Ashton gate capacity with social distance is
5000 with 2m distance
11000 with 1m distance
Hopefully the government goes for 1m as that's most the season ticket holders getting in,
11000 would be more than enough. There will be a lot of people who won't want to go anyway.

The masks and no shouting in grounds could lead to the old fashioned football rattle making a comeback or at least more of those cardboard/paper clacker things.

It's bad enough wearing a mask in a shop for 10 mins, especially for many like me that wear glasses!
But we will be outdoors and back roughly when it's winter so it will be colder

Our top scientists say that wearing a face mask protects others from you so if everyone wore a mask we would all be safer.
The other difficulty in a football stadium is touching surfaces, particularly hand rails. Not sure how that issue would be overcome.
You take some handgel and when you get to your seat use it.

I read an article on Bristol Rugby in which they said they could accommodate 10,000 inside AG, social distancing obviously and one way systems around the concourse.
I'd be interested how you would goto toilet during the game. Does everyone in the row have to go down as well?

Assuming the season restarts, which is looking more and more and likely, does anyone know if the club has made plans for our away game transport? Obviously there isn’t any chance to stay overnight, so good planning for games like the Boro one is paramount.
Obviously more planning is required for Blackburn, Boro and Forest than Swansea. After playing 90 minutes in 30 degrees the worst thing the players could do is sit on a coach for 6 hours. They’ll need to probably make stops, at least one, maybe two for a stretch, I’m sure our scientific approach and staff will have thought of everything. Good recovery is essential anytime, especially when the games will be coming thick and fast.
I really hope for the longer trips they have considered tour buses, no bands are using them this summer obviously, and they have the ideal space/capacity for social distancing and space for players to be comfortable on their return to Bristol. I trust our staff and club to consider most things, hopefully they have this, modern tour buses are perfect for what we require, unless Steve can fly us up some how. There might be a finite supply in he country, no need to get in a bidding war with prem clubs if we can secure them early. Anyone got any info on our plans or contacts in the tour bus industry?
They have a toilet on the coach surely so why would they need to stop? Driver can stop at services and have a rest/toilet break or have 2 drivers.

Just a random thought. If the Government say that football can resume behind closed doors from, say, mid-June that will only apply in England. If the Welsh Government (who have been much stricter throughout all this) say it can`t where does that leave Cardiff, Swansea & Newport? Neutral venues for their `home` games?
It leaves them at long last chucked out of the English Football League

Another thing I have wondered is if any players have furloughed their agents
- 1
-
The other thing out of all this is surely we (or most teams) won't be signing anyone soon/next season. It would be morally wrong to take tax payers money in the form of furlough then pay this out on transfer or signing on fees to players and agents.

Are there similar discussions going on with Rugby, Cricket etc? If not just shows how stupid/ money driven football has become.
-
One to chuck into the mix though I appreciate it will be highly unlikely. With a 27000 seater stadium we could limit the actual attendance to something like 3000-5000. That would mean each supporter could have 2-3 seats from the next one. Obviously you still have to enter exit the stadium but going to the shops you are still near to people. As I said highly unlikely but a very small possibility.

Credit where it's due, 30% isn't small.
Everyone at the club is taking a hit- all in it together- well done. Been sceptical before so I'm fronting up and happy to praise now. Does take character, 30% isn't small.
It's a deferal though isn't it? I take it to mean then still get the money but at a later date. For example when we start again they will get 130% of wages for 3 months or so.

What a hilarious carry on.
I'll probably take an umbrella tomorrow just to be sure

I'm hoping the bloke behind me is a bit calmer tomorrow. Normal get covered in spit after he has an outburst at Johnson. I also presume the players won't be grabbing and holding shirts tomorrow, spitting on the floor or clearing their noses onto the pitch.

Any good streams for this?
