Not gone today due to pricing but my S/T mate relented. He just text to advise no S/T discount at the concessions today. This club really has lost its loyalty to its loyal - sad times

Firstly, I did have a beer and I was only looking from the concourse through the small gap to the pitch but I thought I saw Palmer in full warm up kit running passed up and down. Seemed bizarre as not in the squad and the presumption me and my mate came too was it was Semenyo as they have similar hair, scruffy low cut beard etc albeit slightly different physique and I thought I could tell the difference even with the small glances I had. However my ageing memory seems to recall Semenyo was briefly in the background taking a shot at goal so eff knows what I saw !! Anybody confirm or deny Semenyo was warming up in south stand / dolman corner on his own about 2:30 so I can finally work out whether my mind/vision is failing me?

I have been critical too (I don’t post much and I think my last post was about not thinking he was the answer). BUT - yesterday he was all pace and power and the defence was terrified of him from the first minute (shame Martin cannot strike that fear but that is another argument). I hope this is the start of a long period of continuing in the same way and getting better and really making me eat my words !! However there is that slight concern that my previous post was based on a few false dawns with Antoine about realising his potential but never actually performing consistently so let’s see if he can maintain it - hope so as one of the few joys to watch yesterday!!

Rather have Martin than Semenyo - can’t believe people see him as salvation - bang average league one future beckons. Same people who keep putting Wiemann in the team in the hopes Saturday is his one good game in 10. Must be due I guess? ?

Nothing particularly. It just seems to me that he is fine when liking tweets about young guns coming through etc. but he can get a bit unprofessional when replying to any negative comments about the club and should rise above it. The problem is so many like his comments or lick his arse in the comments it is not worth calling him up on it as you will get abused and life is too short !!

Who doesn’t - Tinnion should stay away from Twitter as he comes over like a clueless dick fairly often !!

I commented on Twitter yesterday that after watching several times I cannot work out :- 1. How he got so much power from basically an outstretched leg poke 2. How it got passed the keeper who was basically touching Kasey There was literally no angle for that ball to end up in the roof of the net - bizarre !!

The same Palmer who has been in virtually every squad since NP came along and played in nearly every friendly? The same Palmer who is fitter and has been flying into sliding tackles and was complimented on his attitude by NP just this week? Some fans need to try opening their eyes - I don’t see him going anywhere this season.

Fought all his career and I’m sure he will beat this - best of luck to him.

Time for somebody to gracefully begin maternity leave and see if somebody else can get the mistakes ironed out !!

I would watch the ladies if they were kicking off at 12 and then time for a beer after the game before back in for men’s game. If the women’s game was after I can’t see I would hang around particularly if 3pm ko was held. Out if interest - what are rules on drinking whilst watching women’s football? Presuming the same? ?
