I've been going down to city for 40 years, I've been all over the world following england, I've found myself in some sticky situations home and away, I've met hundreds of fans both of our club and others, some have been lets say active in football hooliganism over the years some have tried it when younger some came into it later some have never been involved at all but one thing is true they come from all aspects of the social spectrum from sink estate kids to company directors, 99% of people I've met and indeed still know are intelligent rational and passionate about football, sure there are some with low intelligence but equally not everyone who sits in the stands peacefully are Einstein are they? To generalise that all those who get involved in such antics as the lowest common denominator is just ignorance. It might not be right it might not be acceptable but it's been part of the fabric of football since the late 60s.

The point about the charlton fans which appears to have gone over your head is they have been banned from football for doing something that has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with football in a place unconnected to a football stadium. Now I happen to know a couple of our fans who were banned after Cardiff both were on the end of rough treatment from heddlu then arrested for daring to stand up for themselves, I don't know what utopian dreamland you inhabit but fairies are definitely at the bottom of your garden.

Well some innocent people have already been released without charge after being rudely awoken at 5am and carted off to the nick, so that sort of kills your first statement stone dead. Some kiddy put a post on Facebook last week about the death of his father, a staunch gashead, it was quite touching really,all about how great the rovers board had been and how grateful he was for their support and compassion, he then took the opportunity of his fathers death to have a dig at city, utterly beyond belief.
