Think back over recent years to the number of teams who've come to AG and done that to us, leading to similar comments from our fans. It was an exercise in how to win away from home.

This is the thing over the last season and a bit, even when we're not in good form and not playing well, we've never been too far away from getting a win from somewhere. The up and down nature of performances and results is frustrating, but there is a tendency to overreact and catastrophise every setback.

As someone said in the match thread, people might not notice him much when he's there, but we sure as hell notice when he isn't.

We played our rearranged game last week against Preston, most of the others from that weekend are being played next midweek.

There's something about going to Anfield that gets to Man City every time. One win there since 2003 and that was when there was no crowd in because of Covid. And their defence is a bit shit when they actually have to defend.
