Been listening to the online commentary of the Lancs game and the names of the breaks were the source of much debate. They kept calling the first break lunch but acknowledged that they probably shouldn't.
Does anyone other than Eoin Morgan consider him an all-rounder in the mould of Stokes etc? My impression was that he's a bowler whose batting is respectable enough, ala Jordan, Willey etc rather than a genuine all-rounder.
Livingstone is an odd one, he can hit the ball a long way but his first class form is better than his limited overs record. He's more likely to be a Test player in the short-medium term.
If it's not an error and the judge filled in the card correctly, that's the worst points decision I've ever seen. He had Burnett winning two rounds, which, with the two knock downs, can't even be possible as they're 10-8 rounds anyway. Unbelievable.
I thought it was a fair stoppage. Walsh didn't really know where he was and had to be prompted to put his gloves up in the first instance.
Davis's punch power and speed is seriously impressive, he's an unbelievable prospect if he stays on the straight and narrow.
3 wins in a row for Lancs now despite being nearly utterly shafted by Duckworth Lewis today. I know it throws up some odd calculations, but how does an innings curtailed at 132-2 in 21 overs result in a target of 161 in 18?
It's actually quite shrewd promoting from Canelo's side. Get a PPV that was a terrible fight out of the way and dodge a lot of criticism by announcing the Golovkin fight immediately afterwards.
Very hard one to call. I can't see how it can't be a great fight.
