Vyner in the team. Let the meltdown commence.

Unless I’m missing something there are no plans to open a station at Ashton Gate…..or will that follow in due course if the line reopens?

Never met him, saw him plenty of times around the ground but just found out that my wife worked with his son….small world.

Looking ahead at 2023, struggling to see who they’ll get to headline or for the legends slot. The ones they really want (Floyd, fleetwood Mac) won’t do it and hopefully they don’t just recycle Coldplay or Muse.
Springsteen has space next year, he could come back again. Other than that …..I have no idea..

Paul McCartney was booked for the 2020 Glastonbury I think.
A lot of it depends on what the bands are doing, at the time.
A lot of the big artist are either touring outside UK or about to start touring. I would not be surprised if next year Coldplay or Muse return. As they were there only a few years ago so with the Covid gap would be too soon to appear again. Bruce Springsteen will probably depend on going there or doing BST dates.
Never understand why Red Hot Chilli Peppers have not gone there.McCartney, Kendrick Lamar and Diana Ross were due back in 2020. The only headline act not scheduled this year was Taylor Swift.

Grohl and Springsteen but no frog chorus.

Many years ago (when all the houses round here were green fields) there was a Chargehand (ask your Dad) in the Cigar Factory on Raleigh Road who was called Gordon. He had one normal ear and one that was misshapen and much smaller. His nickname was eighteen months….
