Do you not think you are overreacting ? If I was in one of the vulnerable categories I would want to know! At the moment and as the media/Boris portray it, we are all vulnerable which I’m sure most of us will know is bollocks.

Once met a guy in a club and told him he looked like Gareth Southgate, needless to say going back 20 years he wasn’t at all pleased... I expect he looks back on that now and tells that story :laugh:

It would seem very sensible to me to get the full facts. Most of the population know that Boris will lie about just about anything so surely asking full the full facts is a reasonable query ? Most of us want to know who is actually effected by this and if those that are in the vulnerable categories choose to continue to mix that is their choice.

Apparently the 3rd Booster shot prevents you from likely catching covid or passing it on.

Plan B - Wear masks in supermarkets where you don't speak to anyone except the cashier who is behind a pane of plastic glass and then head straight to the pub without a mask and drink with everyone mixing at xmas.

I know science changes over time but I wasn't talking 2 weeks. People that took the vaccine 3 months ago will be protected (all the scientists said it gives at least 6 months protection). What happened to the risk of having a booster on top of your 2nd jab, wasn't that a risk where people were expected to wait?

Wasn't it Labour themselves that said vaccine passports don't work?

I still don't understand why 2 jabs is not enough for those that only got the 2nd vaccine a few months ago? We have been told all year that 2 jabs was enough. Now I can see if you had your 2nd jab back in April/May, that there would be a valid point for having the booster (likely most in that category should have already been offered it), but not the more recent 2nd jabber's.

If this variant is as bad as they say it could be, e.g. less severe but more hospital cases for I am guessing a "particular age group" then Plan B, Plan C, Plan D won't stop it. The only way to protect the NHS "if it is as severe as they say" is to fully lockdown. I am already seeing that pubs could be limiting numbers and possibly shutting within the next few weeks.

I thought Lewis Hamilton’s driving was far superior , he was doing a second a lap on max the whole time but still lost the race ?! It’s like being 2-0 up in football and then told to start at 0-0 at 90 mins , don’t really understand it

Was it fair for Lewis to lose 11 seconds ? I don’t normally watch it, was very good however you can see Lewis was the faster driver. Was it fair to lose how he did ?

Starmer was on tv earlier, his party will be backing everything the Conservative party do and say. 65 plus conservative rebels, labour will once again side with the Conservative party.

My concern is the decision or phases will get worse and people will either get used to it or happy to accept it going forward. How can we live in a world where someone that doesn’t want a vaccine can only visit a shop ffs ?! This is not where I want us heading as a country and it is not what I want for my kids going forward.

But how long will you put up with restrictions if they move to plan C or D etc ... at what point will you decide you no longer want to go along with it ? I think that is the question.

As I mentioned earlier, if this variant ends up being milder then we would all expect this vaccine passport measure to be stopped wouldn’t we? If that is the case then I have no issues with it. I would assume you wouldn’t want the passport in place indefinitely from now on. You just agree to it as a precautionary measure until we know more about the variant ? What are your thoughts on Plan C ?

@Kid in the Riotread at your leisure... where does the number 5 come from btw ? How many people have ended up with Myocarditis or Pericarditis. Should we just ignore it for the greater good ? Likely they have just had years taken off their life which I guess is acceptable ?

What is it 600% or 83% ? if the hospital stays are on average 2 days, then likely people in the U.K. will still be sat in the ambulance when they suddenly start feeling better. It would be useful to know how many are seriously ill in ICU.

An office party that could also have occurred with other parties as well.

So are you telling me that something which occurred almost 12 months ago and kept under wraps for all this time wasn’t recently deliberately put out to try and get rid of him ?
