They have got cameras there, just seen us walking off!
-
Taking us out of the equation, it's very poor coverage for Telford. Chester assistant manager being interviewed on side of pitch at Barnsley just now, they should have the same.
I can only guess there is a problem with equipment but bbc haven't apologised have they?

I was under the impression there would be proper coverage ( camera) too...unless they only show if something really happens? Odd.

According to Twitter Elliot 'raised his hand' leaving the ref no option. The Swindon player made the most of it. Come on the 10 men.
According to Twitter Elliott stood his ground and the player ran into him, got contact and made the most of it...

I'm glad the record has been broken and whatever happens now will be a bonus, or not. What will be will be.
I think it will be relief all around that we didn't fail in that achievement last night, but I do feel it was perhaps making us a bit nervy. Hopefully now that that hurdle has been crossed we will settle a bit.

I wasn't there. In what way we're they horrible cheating bar Stewards?
I thought they were a decent footballing side, probably one of our hardest home matches so far this season, but instead of concentrating on their ability they were constantly looking for a freekick, throwing themselves to the floor theatrically. Infact they wouldn't win any awards their attempts were very poor but somehow fooled the ref.
The ref at several points lost control of the game, our players were very restrained on the whole and didn't retaliate. He was constantly getting earache off the Chesterfield players, especially the gobby captain who also confronted the ref and Fielding after the game and had to be pulled away. I'm not sure if it was him who had his hands around Flints throat (brave man) in a confrontation earlier in the match too.
A niggly team, who don't need to resort to those tactics in my opinion. I was so annoyed with their antics I said deep into injury time that I'd love it if we nicked the game from them in the last minute, with that up popped Wes and the rest is history!

I am lucky enough to have a fibre to premis connection, they have wound down the speed recently so I 'only' get around 180mb, just tested currently 182.8mb. The best I've had is around 275mb. These are download speeds, upload is 21.1mb.

Yes.... That'll work.
I'm not defending the club but can you read? They thought, wrongly, it couldn't be changed beyond the date earlier in the season. No one "forgot".
So am I right thinking that all the fixtures came out in June and only us and Sheff Utd were playing on Easter Saturday instead of Good Friday. Did the club leave it like that in the hope it was going to be a tv match or something? But even then the tv matches were announced months ago, so that can't be it? Only when Sheff Utd applied or a change did we realise we could do the same, staggering.

What are you on about ?
Is he having a drinking with Sweden?

I've read all through this thread. Sometimes I am so proud of my club, and sometimes they embarrass the hell out of me. And I don't mean on-field.

I agree, I meant wrong decision to alter it now.I'd argue right decision, but wrong time.
Fans have been questioning for weeks why we were the only fixture playing on the Saturday! Only having one days rest instead of two would be a massive factor for both us and county's fixtures on Monday.
Why on earth has this not been changed weeks ago and why was the game originally scheduled for the Saturday in the first place?! Utter madness! Please tell me the club hadn't only just realised that playing Sat gave the players only one days rest! Most fans have been for ages!
Considering it's Easter weekend and people make plans at this time of year, I'd be surprised if there was a single fan that this didn't effect in some way (not just exiles or away fans that have booked train tickets).
Naturally I want to win games and if one extra days rest will make the difference then ok I can see the reasoning. But I honestly think the club doesn't take into account the huge effort many fans have to make to actually attend games; work, child care, transport etc all have to be juggled. Add in the factor of a long weekend for some, but not all, and to move it now won't be easy for some.

Understandably our own fans are upset and Notts County fans too. Wrong decision.

I didn't see the first debate so purely judging on what I saw last night. My impressions were that Nick Clegg has probably spent too long in the company of Cameron as he seemed to constantly be making silly smug comments and digs, then looking around waiting to see people thinking how clever he is. I actually think Cameron speaks to him like this and now was just repeating it on Farage.
I know Clegg is a politician and I see how they behave in PM's questions, which I like for it's playground humour, but I expected better from Clegg, more dignity. That bit about WG Grace was embarrassing and cringeworthy. And all those references to things being 'dangerous'.
I think all Farage has to do is stay calm and yes stand up for himself but don't get dragged into the playground bully tactics and he will take votes.

We don't do that though do we? Look at our home form over the course of this season.
Agreed. I have always said we are too soft at home, or have been on many occasions over the past couple of seasons. But my comments were intended to be regarding the future. Getting into a mindset of dominating at home, which should hopefully mean we win games and picking up what we can away. Putting positive runs together rather than lurching from one game to the next is what we are doing now, and has to continue beyond this season.

Disappointed - Bristol City fan after losing a two goal lead in last twenty minutes to only get an away draw, failing to move further away from the drop zone.
Gutted - Stevenage fan after losing a two goal lead in last ten minutes to lose at home, and drop in to the bottom four.
Lets keep a little perspective!
Got to agree with you. Colchester want/need the points too, they are in an almost identical situation to us. They shouldn't be expected to lie down and give up without a fight, they are the home team and that should be an advantage.
Maybe that's what we could learn ourselves. I'm sure we've gone a couple of goals down at home and just about given up in getting anything from the game in the past. Lately we have a more positive outlook but days like this enforce the fact that all is not lost if we find ourselves in that situation.
We have also got goals from players other than Baldock and Jet, surely goals throughout the team is a positive. We also seem to have more feasible options on the bench now, again a positive. Get the points at home and go for at least a point away and everything will fall in place.

Pleased that they can progress.Find it ironic though that the law has protected an old rubbish tip from development but allowedbuilding on piece of land left as a memorial.
Exactly what I was going to post. No problem with them moving ( as long as they don't come to us!) but it is sad the Memorial Stadium and what it stands for gets turned into a supermarket

Very proud of our 10 men tonight. A hard game and there will be some tired legs on Saturday, but the win tonight will have them all feeling 10 feet tall and aches forgotten. Bring on the Swindle...

On way back, was a good day and a much needed 3 points.
Was quite funny getting w4nker signs and other things from the CATS coaches while we waited outside the ground for our taxi, obviously thought we were Shrewsbury fans.
Well they do say Coach One are a bit unwelcoming to anyone who isn't 'one of them'

My daughter is there and saying the same, twice she has texted to say he is noticeably awful. What a shame but I think his time is done here.
