Times have changed - plenty of times 35 years ago I was not fit to drive but I did but then I wasn't driving at 120mph, bl##dy hell, my car wouldn't do half that flat out downhill with the wind behind me. Now I drink to excess and love driving but never mix the two - Saturday I am driving to Cornwall so will not have much on Friday so I am ok early Saturday, get there about 10.30am, put the car away and then have a couple of days where I need not worry about the car so a pub lunch and a good dinner both ably supported by G&T's and wine then nothing on Monday 'till the car is safely back in the garage. Only good thing about the accident is as far as I know, only he died and took no innocents with him.
