Nail on the head I think, blokes have held power over women since time immemorial. That asymmetry doesn’t exist in the other direction, by & large. Not to say that tweet was overly professional but possibly why there is no uproar when compared to what would happen if it was a heterosexual male employee commenting similarly on our women‘s team.
