Brownhill was far from impressive last week and the whole time he was on the field the game passed him by. Would feel better if Pack was in the middle alongside O'Neil. Little at right back also concerning. If Matthews is that unfit makes the decision to let Ayling leave even more of a strange one given the lack of defensive cover.

Why is this being discussed in so much detail on here? They have new owners who have a little bit of money. Could go one way, could go the other. Reading through the posts on here it is like an obsession with them. For what it is worth, I couldn't care. I personally would prefer someone like Lansdown in charge than an overseas businessman/family. However should Lansdown ever wish to sell up we could be in the same position. If this was Accrington for example would there be so much interest on here?

that's why I think he should have finished it. It wasn't a cross with a lot of pace on it, completely unmarked in the centre of the goal. the one thing that can't be questioned is the effort he put in to getting there.

Kodjia wasn't unlucky with that header. Should have buried it. Put it in the only place the keeper could save it. Our second half performances have been shocking of late. That will need to change tonight.
