  1. We had notice to say Ashton Gate Stadium had become a totally cashless venue. However, the 50/50 tickets are cash only. I don’t know if the prize is paid out in cash……does anyone here know?
  2. I do wonder, as it’s ever an odd number paid out.
  3. There’s a rude joke there, but in the current climate, I refuse to go there
  4. In comparison, City’s halftime 50/50 draw regularly pays out between £800 and £1000 every home game.
  5. That’s not going to be too difficult
  6. Two late goals conceded by Belgium to keep them in with a chance…..hmmm
  7. Maybe they need to pay the kids who put up the new stand?
  8. Yep. No sales due to their very own policy. They didn’t even drop their prices in a last ditched attempt to offload everything.
  9. What does a Sunderland manager have to do not to get sacked?
  10. Wouldn't you rather get £10's worth for your tenner rather than less than £5's worth?
  11. I'm probably hanging on to how we used to be. I've seen many occasions where modern technology has slowed down a process that used to be simple with cash payments. The other week, one of the outside food outlets had a 'Cash Only' sign due to a system failure. There was no queue.
  12. I believe all customers should have the choice. So with respect, and out of interest, why should I?
  13. Most of the food outlets don't accept cash, so I don't support them. There are plenty of (cheaper) alternatives outside the stadium perimeter. In reply to the price of bottled water made by the OP... Iceland sells 24x500ml bottles of water for £3.75. Bristol Sport will charge you £69.60 for the same......an extra £65.85 !!!
  14. Rugby and Football saw 36,000 over 2 days. The shop was busy yesterday, all the food outlets had long queues, and the Sports Bar was busy. The money must be rolling in
  15. I wasn’t overly impressed with his appointment, especially with the quality of the manager he replaced, and thus far, my opinion of him hasn’t improved. Obviously, I hope to be proved wrong.
  16. It was better when we were young…
  17. I'm pretty sure that's part of the reason for poor results recently. They spend more time in front of the camera than they do in front of goal.
  18. No, but he did come out with these two crackers today... "Without talking at length about the neighbours [Bristol City] they've shown what is achievable of football clubs in Bristol and traditionally, historically, Bristol Rovers is as big a club as you get in this city." "Bristol Rovers could become a bigger club and a sustainable Championship club."
