Think it would be much better if they played before the match. It would create a good pre-match atmosphere and many people would be around to enjoy it. After the match many people have to get away and particularly if they have already delayed their departure to watch the team’s end of season lap of honour.

Or…. many people have prior engagements on Saturday mornings & dont make it to AG much before kick off.
After the game many like to stay out & have a few beers around BS3, so this is perfect post match entertainment for them.

As I know Martin Starnes personally, I shall be bringing this post to his attention in the hope he joins the list of people suing Bartscum. His Gofundme donuts won't be able to spend their pensions fast enough to keep him solvent!

Make sure its not via email. He may take a while to reply.

Nike have even brought out a special edition for the likes of Lewis and others worried that the flag has gone gay due to wokeness,,,

May be an image of 1 person and text

I will stick to my 1988 & 1990 vintage shirts - when there was some testosterone about, but thanks.

But it was nice of you to model it for us Robbo.

Just out of interest, who would buy a City home club shirt if the club decided it was going to be ‘Blue and White Quarters’ for a change?

Looks like theres a few who walk among us on here that sadly would.

I take it all those triggered by the flag are simiarly always up in arms when the Union Jack is in different colours?

Yep, this is as offensive as it gets.

It's already been confirmed that it's a shout out to the training gear used in 1966!!

    See pictures in previous pages

No reason to try to create a situation not there

Looks pretty similar to me…. Im sure its just some sort of massive coincidence though. #triggered

How is it 'woke gone mad' what is even woke about it at all?

Looks to me like a designer just redesigned something for the sake of it, they have to earn their crust somehow!

I agree that the plain red/white cross would have been a better option there, but it really isn't woke. It's just the horizontal bar looking like it's based on the colours of the away kit and the vertical bar based on the reds that are often involved as well, so just the colours generally included on the kits. Certainly not a rainbow or anything like that.

Just a slight co-incidence its the flag in same style of the bisexual flag? Not that i care what that stands for, we just shouldnt be messing with traditional st george cross. Simple.

    .

Was going to post something similar earlier. Say SL sells to a Vincent Tan equivalent and he does to us what tan did to Cardiff by putting blue seats in Ashton Gate and changing the kit to the blue and white quarters.

The important question to ask is why they felt the need to do it and who is the target audience for it. Just some nonsense buzzwords on a tweet means nothing.

Im sure @SecretSam would be buzzing for that to happen.

Remind me, who are the 'easily offended snowflakes'?

So you probably wouldnt mind if we just changed City’s kit to blue & white quarters then? Then anyone who objects you would probably call a small minded racist bigot.

Great result but what? Well, normally I give you a free pass but tonight you join the clickbateable society along with countless others that I follow on YouTube, please don't stoop to their level; it's not big and it's not clever.

Just like the youtubers, he craves attention for cyber “likes”

He's been to loads of matches over the last few years....usually sits in the Heineken Lounge corner of the Lansdown.

I know his mum hosts corporate tables in the Lansdown. Probably keeps her company, certainly has nothing else to do with the club apart from watching games.
Its no secret he is not impressed with how he was treated by the club & what they made him do with his testimonial funds.
