  1. Yes i can see that but surely the more people you get in the ground the more people spend money in the ground? Especially those pesky kids with their "Dad can i have this, Dad can i have that?" Like i said the other day, it's not only the £60 odd ticket money the club will lose from me not going. It's the £30/40 i'd spend in the concourse too! I guess the club are damned if they do, damned if they don't?!
  2. I think we'd have got around the 12-13k mark with decent pricing but you never know? There were so many red flags for this game as someone mentioned above. 2 home games in 4 days, playing a team in our own division, who we are playing again a week after, early kick, covid etc. I just can't see how the club didn't spot these red flags? Or maybe they just don't care? It seemed we'd sorted the cup prices a few years ago when it was about the £10-12 mark on our league cup run against Premier League teams like Stoke, Palace etc but now we've seemed to just double the price at the drop of a hat.
  3. Ah right, I was unaware of that? Obviously as the away side are entitled to their share! The old football romantic in me thought it was a nice idea, haha!
  4. Also and i don't know how easy this would have been logistically, this would've been a perfect opportunity for City fans to reward the fans who didn't ask for their season ticket money back during covid with a free ticket for this game. I know we've just lost a shedload of money in the recent acounts but surely it wouldn't have cost the club too much and a fine gesture for the fans generousity?
  5. Also the money spent inside the stadium/fan park on food and drink, club shop etc by the extra fans that attend. I won't be going so that's £65 ticket money and probably another £30/40 spent in the concourse on beverages they'll miss out on.
  6. Hardly a suprise regarding low ticket sales. A team in our own league, just after Christmas and with all what's going on virus wise the prices were verging on ridiculous! Shame really as they probably could have got around the12k mark if the pricing was a bit more sensible?
  7. The scary thing is it wasn't really said in jest!?
  8. Steve Lansdown waiting for Sunderland to sack Lee Johnson before reappointing him!
  9. He's up Clifton looking at houses!
  10. In your opinion? Made me chuckle tbf!
  11. It was obviously a joke! Don't be such a wet wipe!?
  12. Who actually plays in the City and County of Bristol? I'll give you a clue. It's not Somerset! All of this is irrelevant anyway as Cricket has absolutely nothing to do with Football!
  13. They're at it again! http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/13061/sick-head-fans Forgive me if i'm wrong but when they're on about LJ having to move house wasn't it to do with Rovers fans posting his address online after the Matty Taylor transfer?
  14. Looking forward to this. Should be a cracking game! Finish work at 2pm then off to Pride Park. COYR!
