  1. All opinions welcome on here, I think that's the ethos anyway
  2. How Rude..... ? Hope you know each other
  3. Just in case you have mis read my point. The point was, its not strange the game is being stopped for a medical incident, which of course is right but why we are hearing more of these incidents and games being stopped Like we have all eluded to it could be a number of reasons: 1. Poor fan health 2. Vaccine related 3. Covid related. 4. New directive 5. Medical staff not available for players 6. Also maybe more focus on people well being. 7. No more incidents just published/reported more because the games are being halted now. It was just a question to understand the change in frequency of the games being halted and the reasons that have led to that but definitely the right decision to stop football and help people.
  4. Yes correct that was my point. Might be a new directive as somebody said. But also having read the posts I now wonder if there is an actual increase in incidents as well, possibly not as like many said its always happened, could be just down to increased reporting because the games are now being halted.
  5. We have had 5 or 6 recently and the games being halted, never use to hear of this before. Odd why that is
  6. Bentley Kalas, Atkinson, Scott O'Dowda HNM, James, Semenyo Pring Martin, Wells
  7. Sorry I have to disagree about Brownhill, he had all round attributes, attacking and defensive, its mainly that type of player is what is missing in my opinion. An experienced midfield general but no I have no idea who that is but I am fairly sure we don't have that player in our squad. 1 good recruit in Jan will breathe confidence into this side, so we finish comfortably in the middle 3rd of the table.
  8. No I don't think he is the answer. It's a Brownhill type
  9. I think the issue is only in Midfield. An all rounder who can create and break up play who reads the game well, get that player we will create more good chances rather than the odd half chance, championship strikers need half a dozen fairly good chances per game to score 1. Will breathe confidence through the whole team. Our young midfield players will really benefit. Rest of positions we are okish and good enough for mid/top half
  10. Does anyone need a ticket for Sunday as I have one available?
  11. I have 1 ticket available, happy to accept a offer
  12. Hope this happens, would be great for the whole City again
  13. Yes, I think I remember something with the audio, long time ago now
  14. With Stockport I think of the big screen erected in the East end to watch the cup game vs Stockport in the round before the "Liverpool" game Does anybody else remember that?
  15. Yes, train is best value all round when travelling from Taunton/Bridgwater/WsM to Bristol
  16. Nearly 600 sold now and 600 left Beat Blackburn and Stoke and go to Sheff Utd with 1k support on a Sunday morning will be start of good times again. Positive thinking, onwards Get well Nigel and come back soon
  17. Think we need to show support here to the manager of OUR beloved Bristol City and as a human being. He has been signed off unwell and when that happens we all want our employers and colleagues to show grace and understanding. We have to trust the management structure is set up well and robust so its not reliant on one person. That's the responsibility and requirement of every good efficient "team" and business. My opinion is to let the poor chap recover and come back to his job (which we hope he loves) and get us back on track. That would only be fair. Though if this was to go on past the Blackburn game then an interim manager should be appointed to cover the sickness.
