Good performance by the home team apparently. Some vibrant play from Fuchs and Poku particularly.

New signing: Greg Leigh from Morecambe. Free transfer.

but do they (those investing on the pension contributors behalf) seriously believe that this is a good / sensible investment ?
Presumably they have a bit of cash for speculative investments. ITFC must have appeared under-priced. I presume their plan is to sell on as a Championship club with potential to get into the top flight but for a less risk-averse investor to take that challenge and horrendous risk. They failed to go up last season. This one will be tougher. Meanwhile, MA is getting the fans and staff to doff their caps to the speculators to buy himself time.

So, if anyone manages to sit through the whole video, please can they confirm that MA has actually launched a whole vision, mission, values, behaviours and slogan campaign at ITFC but has only managed to come up with the slogan, which he says is not a slogan.

It's the anthem Kate Bush wishes she'd written.
With all the rambling references to policemen and firemen, plus his fantasies at City about being a builder, I'm picking up more of a Village People vibe here.

With all due respect to the fine people of Arizona, before investing in Ipswich Town the pension fund should have accepted the club's existing values. It has no right to impose its own values after making the investment, however large that investment may be. MA has dropped a bollock on this one. Surrounded as he is by yes men, nobody will ever tell him he has.

Mr Darkside is a national treasure. Having 10 of his threads on the front page is something to celebrate.

It looks like a white polo shirt with a red tank top over it. It's pretty awful but it's our awful. Loved the promotional video.

Chance of a good break with two free balls.

Welcome back into the fold, Steve Philips!! And it looks like a few players who aren't averse to an occasional half of lager will be there too.

Getting his face known at Man Utd; sniffing around for future job opportunities.
I didn't get very far into the video but I enjoyed how he blamed this season's debacle on the fact that he had underestimated how big Ipswich are. Shame nobody asked him to substantiate that excuse.

Are you saying that this isn't one of the greatest songs of all time?
Hilarious lyrics. The music kept my attention throughout. The banana-coloured wolf costumes are a winner. And setting off the fireworks for no reason tops it off. I hope they do well.

Laura Pausini murdering a Sting song now. Bless her.

Ireland, San Marino, Australia and Cyprus would get my votes to go through.

Semi finals on now, I think. Since when were they allowed to mime?
There used to be about 14 countries taking part. Now there are about 430. Australia on now. Did I miss something?

Blimey, that’s not one of their best lyrics, is it?

When I'm dead, they'll bury me
In the shade of a cider-apple tree,
Take me back to good ole Somerset;
Take me by the village inn,
Hear the old folks, the yarns they spin,
Take me back to good old Somerset- 1

Pretty simple answer to the headline question!
So, if it wasn't for Gary Probert, how much would City have been paid for Reid, Bryan and Kelly?

My point was, when it comes to being a bit silly/thuggish or downright cuntish at football , Rovers , City, Forest Green or anyone else are far from having a monopoly on it.
A simple, horse-themed game like Buckaroo would seem more appropriate.

Forgot to but managed to fluke it.

A measure of Antoine's success as a striker for City will be our ability to spell his surname correctly [see thread title].

Louise did well. Must have been nervous about her first gig as main presenter. Downsy is usually very good, in a "Smashie and Nicey" way. Trevor Challis was excellent and correctly predicted the score. A good night on Robins TV.
