Only those? What about other managers that had success here?
Few others but to me they are the ones most deserving

It occurs to me that SL is vulnerable to attacks on his ego.
How about unofficially renaming The Lansdown Stand The Nigel Pearson Stand; and when new owners arrive lobby for the unofficial name to be made official.
There are at least 2 managers I'd name a stand after before Peason.
Alan Dicks, Terry Cooper.

Lansdown needs urgent medical assistance if his expectations are promotion this season - they are not getting a penny more of my hard-earned until they clear out
Wish I could do the same.

I heard the other day that the combined wage of the playing squad is the lowest since we were last in League 1. To avoid the squad being relegated automatically we had to go with a smaller squad and of course that coincides with the largest injury crisis we’ve known in the last decade.
To be fair, that isn’t really a surprise as we cannot manage the workload of the players on a matchday. Would not be surprised to see the injuries get worse before they get better.
Waste of time playing, how can we compete

The subject of leaving early is well documented on here, but...
Does anyone know how late you can get a ticket after k.o (online or in the ticket office), and still get into the game?
I'm having to travel back to Bristol on Wednesday night, and will be cutting it fine
Just wait till Half time if you can't get a ticket. Gates open then

When the goal went in nothing, half the crowd was back on the cider. happens every game.

Did anyone else notice a little group ( about 20 ) cov fans looking for and trying to cause hassle today
I first noticed them on the waterfront along with other cov fans ( who were just having a drink and behaving ) then I seen them near the bottom end of north street neat the spanish bar playing up then again whilst walking past the rising sun , the did have a couple of coppers in tow with them the whole way but what made me laugh was that there were about 20-30 city fans within spitting distance of them the whole way , also seen a little altercation at the top end of the park on my out ( probably the same little group ) generally thought cov fans were pretty decent tbh
Should have gone up West Street.

Could have written this myself...convinced we went downhill from that moment on...we never really recovered from the loss of him to survive the 1st Div....our time in 1st Div could have been so different...at least that's what I have convinced myself.
Glad to say I missed that match on holiday, What a player.

I don’t know how anyone could sing a song about 100 odd kids dying…..properly low. I’m not sure if it’s true but I heard when this first occurred even the Bristol police were dismayed by it and turned a blind eye to what followed…..I know ccfc are no angels and sang songs like gas a jack at swansea after an ex players gassed himself in his car, but kids? Come on….
I sang it as an 11yo, and I'm from a Welsh family, Mum is Welsh. I sang it because everyone else was sing it

Did we win 5-3? I remember the game - but not who scored!
I think it was something like that. I remember the 5 City scored.
I thought it was great because Southampton were 1st division

I found this on a Luton page
https://www.hattersheritage.co.uk/peter-spiring
As he is 72 now I assume he has retired as there is no sign of the business online.
I also found this piece about another player from that era, Danny Bartley. It seems he worked with Spiring in his business a few times.
https://yourherefordshire.co.uk/all/sports-news/my-hereford-united-story-danny-bartley/
Remember Danny Bartley, who scored in a pre-season friendly against Southampton, Must have been late 60.
I remember it because I saw City training down the Imperial ground the following week.
I was talking to Danny Bartlry and he took great pleasure in showing us how he scored.
