Mechanically derived hole, Tone.
It's how I served them up you should be worrying about!

How many remember the old Canons Marsh Market ?
Used to go there most weeks, making fresh donuts with my Dad. Freezing cold wind, soaking wet in the rain........../ but crackin' donuts, mind.

Errr-hem---never saw a city fan in the tote in all the seventies/early eighties unless accompanied by a rovers fan/fans...did see a lot ROVERS in the East End in 73/74 though...
So my own experiences in that grubby end in the 70's were just a dream, then! Usual gas selective memory.
Now for some serious 'adventure', I suspect that my little group of ragamuffins weren't the only ones to get shot round the back of the East End when the scouse scallies rolled into AG with air guns.

I thought rovers sold about 27,000 tickets last time out (?)
I think the ticket price plus the travel costs put people off...especially if you can pay a tenner and watch it live on sky.
The distance will also put some off ,Bristol is a reasonable hop to London . Plymouth and hull are a long way from Wembley.
That's what the sh8theads want you to believe.
I read that the offical number was anywhere between 30k to 34,000 which makes sense. From the 40k we took in 2007 where we had only the top and bottom tiers we filled half of one side of the stadium.
Last year we had the bottom section, the whole of the middle tier- which spread from one side at the halfway line mark, right around to well over the halfway line on the other side.It was only half the top tier that we never sold out last May.So if you moved the middle section to that the top tier like in 2007 I think we would only have been 4-6,000 down on 2007.This is just another beautiful example of Gas Logic. Surely the 'offical' number would be a bang-on figure, ie no dispute, no this or maybe that.....just bang-on. But Oh NO, Gas Logic dictates that the 'offical' figure has a bloody 4k range on it. Priceless
Please, can somebody make them stop this..........I struggle for breath sometimes

Not shouting anything from the rooftops, not even poking my head out of the 2nd floor window!
Apart from the deluded few, we all know that the new owners are not billionaires. My approach is to see how things unfold, I'm old enough to know the value of the Emporer's new clothes.
Court verdict to be delivered on Thursday morning.
OK, Mods. I think that we've all been more than patient with this contributor in the past. But it is blindingly obvious that so called "In the Net" is just a keyboard warrior pretending to be a Gashead.
Sensible comments, balanced views, humility when required, well reasoned comebacks to mass pea taking...... none of this adds up to the so called "In the Net" being a follower of the wrong 'uns. Never in a million years. I'm sorry, but this jolly jape of a charade has had its day and should be stopped now.
Please do the decent thing and confirm to us all that the aforementioned forum member is in fact "Mad Cyril" who's been having us all on since setting up this fake account.

Just heard Dopey on RB, being a tad critical of the ref. He had the situation summed up beautifully, "Maybe the game was too big for him......"
Nice to hear that the delusion goes on and on and on and on..........

Yeah, we've been discussing it since Friday. Yet gash heads have been harping on about Lansdown's input to our club SINCE 2009.
Sometimes I just despair.................
