May be my bad memory but i did not think we played them in the lower leagues. Did not play them because they were relegated when we were promoted, and vice versa the following year.

Correct - We've only played them in the top two divisions

It does seem a bit harsh on those who can’t get to buy tickets until later in the day that the club can’t reserve your own seat for two days!!

Seems a poor decision which surely would make little difference to the number coming but would make Season Ticket holders feel a little more valued!!

Logged on at 11 o'clock and mine had already gone!

Always baffles me that Rovers' fans don't get what happened in '82.

The whole point of everything that happened was that we did NOT go bankrupt.

It was close & we would have done,  but we were saved from it - hense why marking it & paying respects to those that helped.

Just to correct you: The club WAS declared bankrupt - the players reluctantly agreed a deal to save the newly formed BCFC82

There are usually plenty of kids there, and there is usually room on the green opposite.

It can get boisterous , but it's usually kept within reason. Few Police there and they are fairly laid back.
I do wish they closed the road for a few hours though.
I would go up and just hang around for a few photos. If you get up there mid day you can see if your daughter feels comfortable as it builds up.
I've not seen it out of order when I've been up there.

That is a good shout - any police representative watching?

Thank you ChippenhamRed and merry Christmas to you.

It is all a bit of a learning curve for me and tbh I have done what I believe to be the right and best thing, although it’s not without flaws….in reply to your questions:

When tested positive - told to follow the local restrictions, which in NYC means 10 days immediate self isolation. Although ‘immediate’ isn’t strictly possible in every case e.g. I was in a hotel room which I had to check out of within an hour of getting a positive result!
I was responsible for finding alternative accommodation. I didn’t want and could not afford to stay in a hotel (just one room, expensive, no cooking facilities, therefore deliveries or room service the only options, etc.) As you note that did mean putting others at risk as I got from A to B. Although of course I may have, unknowingly, been positive a day or two prior to the test when I was moving freely around. Food is a tough one - I opted for Air B and B so I had a kitchen (of sorts) as I didn’t want / couldn’t afford to have ten days of home deliveries. I therefore opted to visit the supermarket on the way to my accommodation and stocked up on medicine and basic foodstuffs in order to sustain me for the period of self isolation.

    Sounds grim Jerseybean.

At least you appear to be symptom free.

My thoughts are with you in your solitary sentence.

    Merry Christmas
