  1. The 'Spoons' opposite Bromley South station I suspect
  2. Opened a new stand this season too ....
  3. Great, walking distance for me. good community club, got my ticket for Tuesday!
  4. You got to smile, I do hope some of the vitriol on here is tongue in cheek sometimes
  5. I suggest naming the new Law Department building 'Watertight House'
  6. Failing to score from reasonable chances is not a matter of luck, it just demonstrates we were better than them at that, it's kind of the object of the game! Always odd to me when people say 'if they'd have taken there chances then...' they didn't and most teams rarely do, that's why games don't usually finish 5-4.
  7. Don't forget though, Darryl knows why he can't step up to the Championship
  8. Logic ain't it ... we only went up cus all the other teams were too poor to finish above us, if they'd have been decent, we'd have been relegated last year too!
  9. I always enjoy my trips to MK, seem to have more chats with the home supporters than most places and a very decent ground to visit. One thing especially I noticed yesterday, which could have some bearing on our redevelopment, was the use of their 4 large screens. It must be the music industry connections because, like Brighton, they had a bespoke introductory video before the teams came out, highlighting past glories and generally celebrating the club, I thought it worked very well. Am I right in saying our 1 in ground big screen will be bolted on the roof of the Atyeo some time after the refurbishment is complete - seems we might not be reaping the full benefit.
  10. I'm struggling to understand this, it all seems a bit arbitrary to me, these 'few home grown youngsters' presumably would've have to have supported City growing up, not the other lot, and the other non-home grown players, who might they be allowed to have supported or played for? And any new owner, how far afield could he be from, Swindon? London? I can't even begin to think how 'attractive football' might be measured or who is to determine what 'trying their best' looks like, there are many here who automatically assume any defeat is pretty much due to a casual attitude or general laziness. Overall I can't help thinking this is a fantasy far removed from any possible reality.
  11. Best thing about Holloway? He'd most likely bring his favoured assistant with him who'd be ideal to take over should the need arise
  12. Elliot an obvious choice, but in terms of improvement and the surprise factor - its got to be Fonts for me.
