Bromley 3 down at home to Harrogate. Hopefully it`ll fire them up for Tuesday.
I`m sure they`re too professional to think it will just be a walk in the park against the plucky underdogs though.
The comeback's on ....

You got to smile, I do hope some of the vitriol on here is tongue in cheek sometimes

So gutting not to have Fam for these opening games

Yep, I think extending the Law department was mentioned too. I'm sure I read originally that they were thinking of a small multi purpose stadium, would be funny if they did it on their own.
I suggest naming the new Law Department building 'Watertight House'

Dear oh dear...not taking any credit away...
But City were lucky that readings players left their shooting boots at home.
Great how you went to the trouble of finding my post from Saturday and comparing to today. Get a life.
Failing to score from reasonable chances is not a matter of luck, it just demonstrates we were better than them at that, it's kind of the object of the game! Always odd to me when people say 'if they'd have taken there chances then...' they didn't and most teams rarely do, that's why games don't usually finish 5-4.

I'll take still being 4 points ahead of Blackburn at 5 o'clock.
So would I, as long as we're 6 ahead of Forest!

It is, absolute bargain for a striker that can get goals in the Championship.
Don't forget though, Darryl knows why he can't step up to the Championship

Wait a sec.....
Never once did I ever say we were lucky to go up? Who said that?
Logic ain't it ... we only went up cus all the other teams were too poor to finish above us, if they'd have been decent, we'd have been relegated last year too!

I always enjoy my trips to MK, seem to have more chats with the home supporters than most places and a very decent ground to visit. One thing especially I noticed yesterday, which could have some bearing on our redevelopment, was the use of their 4 large screens. It must be the music industry connections because, like Brighton, they had a bespoke introductory video before the teams came out, highlighting past glories and generally celebrating the club, I thought it worked very well.
Am I right in saying our 1 in ground big screen will be bolted on the roof of the Atyeo some time after the refurbishment is complete - seems we might not be reaping the full benefit.

Who's gonna score for us after March ?
Aaron Wilbraham!

This the best post have I read. Football used to mean something. Holloway is a good Manager, would do well, but with his background and the rivalry between the clubs this could not happen. A lot of fans on here are not old enough to remember him and the derbies we used to have that he played in. A great point made regarding Cardiff's red shirts. There would be people on here accepting us changing to blue with a new owner so long as we played in the plastic premier league. I long for a city team with a few home grown youngsters playing attractive football and trying their best every game. Accepting Holloway is accepting changing your badge, colours, claiming to support Liverpool or Chelsea or Man United from the comfort of your DFS sofa watching Sky! Those people are not real football fans!
I'm struggling to understand this, it all seems a bit arbitrary to me, these 'few home grown youngsters' presumably would've have to have supported City growing up, not the other lot, and the other non-home grown players, who might they be allowed to have supported or played for? And any new owner, how far afield could he be from, Swindon? London? I can't even begin to think how 'attractive football' might be measured or who is to determine what 'trying their best' looks like, there are many here who automatically assume any defeat is pretty much due to a casual attitude or general laziness. Overall I can't help thinking this is a fantasy far removed from any possible reality.

Best thing about Holloway? He'd most likely bring his favoured assistant with him who'd be ideal to take over should the need arise

Elliot an obvious choice, but in terms of improvement and the surprise factor - its got to be Fonts for me.
