All that's wrong with today's society, lighten up FFS
Today’s society?
Just a bit creepy leaning over people’s shoulders to take photos of their phones. Not a case of whether it’s legal or not, just whether you’re the type to hide behind curtains I guess.

Taking photos of people’s private devices from behind them without their consent is concerning behaviour and not something I’d be advertising.
Hope this doesn’t creep into other areas of your life.
Mods - would suggest this is removed.

The guy doesn't look fit to me he was blowing after every run.
Agree. In 35 years of watching City, I can’t remember ever seeing a player look so out of shape and lacking match fitness. He was blowing hard after 5 mins.
He looked great in the videos I saw just after he signed and certainly not writing him off yet, but Wilson looked like a fan plucked from the stands when he came on today.
Bizarre.- 3

Longwinded way of telling him to "man up"?
Utter nonsense.
Agree. Rarely have I read such tripe.

But there was only one defender anywhere near him. He has a chance to put real pressure on him. He chose not to try - not exactly brave. He didn’t back himself.
Couldn’t agree more. Said exactly the same thing at the time. Could have turned and gone straight at the defender into the box.
Sums up COD as a player sadly.

Latest from Bristol band Glass Violet, another cracking anthem of a tune.

Not a new band as such but great to see London Grammar dropping something new. Hannah Reid's voice is still something else.
If you've not heard them already and you like London Grammar then you should def check out Bristol band Elder Island.

Wanna coward away dont go but you habe no right to bubble wrap the entire country. Wanna stay in then stay in. Flu still kills more. Covid isn't even close to being deadly. Stats dont lie, its embarrassing and now we have a huge tax bill to pay. Great.
This has to be a parody, surely?

I've no idea what was originally said in this post, but please keep political comments to the politics section
One thing that I will wait to see what happens with, it is the return of supporters from October that has been postponed.
It doesn't specify whether the current test events will cease.
They are two massively different things
No offence, but it’s like you’re living in an alternative reality. What do you expect will happen to the test events?

Another great new single here by a Bristol artist, Gavin Thorpe. Some people on here may already know of Southville resident GT, who has written some brilliant songs over the years, but even though he had a major label record deal years ago, has always gone somewhat under the radar. Probably because he doesn't go in for egotistical self-publicity, or maybe he can't be arsed. The antithesis of the X Factor generation anyway.
Check it though, terrific song...
thanks for the heads up, love it.

Quality new Bristol band. This is Over The Moor, which is a hell of a time.

I'm due to be at the Eng v Italy match on 27th March, but just heard it's now under threat and the FA are meeting about this and other games today.

Give me an hour or two for a report. I need a moment (and a drink) here. As a Preston fan just pointed out, they could have won 8-0. This one is on Lansdown, he has completely and utterly legitimised failure to protect his own cosy lines of influence.
legitimised failure to protect his own cosy lines of influence
Most succinct, accurate ten word summary of his entire reign.
No need for more words.

Do not disagree with your opinion however, he can still only pick 18 for the Match day squad so has to rotate.
What if we win well today would that change your thinking.
At the end of the day Johnson gets paid to make these decisions and until after the game and result we have to trust him.
I just want us to be right up there challenging. I'm annoyed with the lack of logic or honesty behind LJ's selections, which have undoubtedly been shaped by reasons outside of pure footballing ability, conflict with players etc..
Felt the same when LJ was appointed. There was no evidence or track record to support the decision to choose him ahead of more experienced and talented alternatives.
Put simply, like his team selections there is an element of favouritism that exists outside of pure footballing reasons.
i hope we win, if we don't he should be gone.

Because the manager watches them in traning everyday and may well deserve selection
Like us, he has also seen them play in nearly 30 competitive games this season.
Vyner (as promising as he may be), must be pulling up f'ing oak trees in training to be considered ahead of our Icelandic international, who has done absolutely everything you could ask of him in his first season.
COD - Again, may show glimpses of promise. However, no-one can argue he has had a fraction of the positive impact on our games as BR this season. He was shocking and an absolute bystander on Tuesday. Unarguable.
Patterson - I like and he should have more of a role from the bench imo. However, ahead of GON so far this season? We should have let GON move on in the window as its a waste of everyone's time when a player of his pedigree isn't making the bench.
-
Can someone pls explain how Vyner, Patterson and O'Dowda all deserve places on the bench ahead of GON, BR and HD?
LJ- Has to win playing only one up front against bottom side.
Will hold back on any further judgement until I see how we get on.

Tomlin was our only player playing was he? Managing the side was he? I guess he was in goal making the saves, in defence making the tackles and scoring ALL the goals, picked the tactics..
Fair play to the guy
I would suggest that you look up the word galvanised. It appears you don't fully comprehend the meaning of the word.
