  1. Nah, he was just winding us up apparently. “Whoosh”, etc.
  2. probably count most City fans in then Always shit on the Weeeeeelsh side of the bridge
  3. Ben White has asked not to be considered for the squad. Not sure what the issue is with him, allegedly fell out with one of the coaching staff at the WC and was sent home and now this.
  4. You must be having a laugh, he’d be my third pick for the squad after Kane and Bellingham.
  5. Delighted to see Scott and Semenyo thriving in the Premier League ‪I’m gonna grab a ST so we can sell Conway to Burnley and a club that get less than half our attendances can fire themselves back into the Prem next season, would love to see Tommy doing it in the Prem.
  6. Agree, not a chance in hell will there be an increase in ST sales.
  7. Well if we end up relegated maybe we’ll win the EFL trophy a couple of times and get to take it home for keeps.
  8. All credit to BBC Bristol, I thought they dropped off a lot when Twentyman left, but they’re slowly improving and making up for his absence, the questions were insightful and probing without being needlessly provocative.
  9. Multiply the number of goals we scored against Southampton by ten.
  10. One or two to replace TC and Pring would still leave us with a squad that doesn’t suit Mannings style, how else do they propose to fix that? You can’t re-coach an already developed player over a summer.
  11. He’s ******* deluded.
  12. If the interviewer doesn’t press him hard on the disparity between the expectations *that the club hierarchy set* and the result, they’re not fit to work for the BBC.
  13. Have they told Liam Manning?
  14. I have no confidence that this will be anything but a BBC Bristol “puff piece” for the benefit of BT.
  15. One thing this fanbase is not, is spoilt. No club in the country with the paucity of success that we have gets home crowds of over 22,000 on a regular basis.
  16. One positive is I’ve rarely been so confident of us holding on to a 1-0 lead in recent seasons, but mainly because Swansea have been pretty hopeless
  17. I can’t see how he can get the fans back on side, the sea of red seats you see today are unsustainable in the medium term. I don’t think he’s close to the sack but this should start to sow the seeds of doubt in the minds of SL etc.
  18. You do get the feeling that this might be a definitive performance (even if we manage to fluke a 1-0 win), perhaps the beginning of the end.
  19. Promising attack, overhit cross by Cornick. Off he goes. Particularly poor today.
