Damn, would have loved to have seen us beat the gas 5-0, where was I when that happened?
As for Wells, personally think this should be his last season here. You’d hope he’d only have a bit part to play for the upcoming season as we’ve signed someone who can play and score 20
Yeah cause 20 goal a season strikers grow on trees

We were given 7 penalty’s last season, only 2 teams in our league received more.
My point is though is Tommy is a fine penalty taker but doesn’t score many from open play. He certainly has potential but should be pushing on now.

Wow didn’t realise it was that many. I knew we had a few and obviously season before was bad.

I’m sure it will feel like that when you compare what he was on during his first 4 years with us vs what he’s now going to be on for the next three years
Hard to believe he’s been here 4 years, thats flown by.

Remember it well. Arsenal were 2 nil up then Man Utd scored 2 quick goals before Liam Brady put a cross in for Alan Sunderland to score winner in last minute. Me and my brother were gutted as we wanted Man Utd to win as we didn’t like Arsenal at that time. I was 10 then and had the Man Utd away kit, white with black and red stripe going down side. Great kit made by Admiral

Louis Carey hasn’t been mentioned yet. On appearances alone he’s got to be up there. Also a leader on the pitch and always committed…

I wonder how different the game would be if heading was banned and treated like a handball if it happened? I assume a lot more passing on the deck and less hoofing it up the pitch, which is a good thing, although corners would be interesting!
I can see a ban coming in the future due to the dementia risks that are coming out, same with tackling in rugby. In the end legal litigation, if successful, would open the floodgates for claims, and insurance companies would then change what they cover, and all of a sudden it’s a domino effect
Why not wear some sort of head protection instead.

Would he go Trent at centre mid?
With Walker at RB and Trippier able to cover both full back positions we can free Trent into centre mid with Rice and Bellingham just ahead.
Foden, Kane, Saka as a top 3 but let Foden drift everywhere and do what he wants basically.
Hopefully Foden will tear up this tournament.

Can’t believe he’s 82. Looks great for his age

Even so, will need to basically lose by at least 3 goals and Leeds win by at least 3 goals…
I thought Leeds had a better goal diff

Got a nasty feeling They’ll lose last game and Leeds will win

Taking the last 10 games as a run-in of sorts, I make it our best set of results since 2016-17 season. Last 9 reads: won 5, drawn 3, lost 1.
We typically end seasons very poorly.
Guaranteed to finish in 12th at a minimum, our best league finish since 2019-20 season.
A bit of momentum going into next season?
Here's hoping.
I think the momentum can go into next season. When Cotterill came in we were all over the place and finished strongly, then the following season we were promoted as champions.

I wouldn't be surprised if somehow the deal get cancelled.

Lansdown plumped for Holden. Not Ashton.
You have more chance of sprouting a second head than Lansdown appointing anyone of that calibre.
Please dont, one of his gurning mug is enough

It turned out to be better than the Rovers v Tottenham scorline

Old grounds are great but look at the facilities Ashton gate have now the plenty of toilets and food bars etc. I remember having to wait all of half time to queue for a piss in the dolman . Regarding nostalgia though, I like it. I wouldn’t call it a disease

Cannot stand Birmingham! how many times have they almost been relegated out of this league and saved themselves by the skin of their teeth.. as others have said we should have sent them down in 2017.. they stayed up on the last day of the season in 2014 aswell getting a lucky last minute draw to stay up. Relegation to the third tier has been a long time coming for them
Ah Birmingham, the Everton of the championship then

Was just thinking as our last game of season is at the Britannia stadium. Wouldn’t it be funny if we relegated them.
Quite a dour club and never forgave Shilton for ending our beloved Cheesleys career.

One of those rare nights when we want Cardiff to win. Away at Brum.
I’d rather Cardiff lost tbh as it would be nice to finish above them for once.
