This is a massive result for Luton,
I generally think they will stay up,
Hope so as they’ve made a real go of it and scored plenty of goals.
Love to see Toffees relegated.

Thought the title was about a horse with the same name as one of our players.
Shame i was gonna put a tenner on him.

I say sack him. I reckon Bernhard Manning would be a better shout. At least we’d be playing bootiful football.

I’ve still not got over losing to Mansfield on penalties at Wembley in 1987.
I can remember going to that final. We didn’t really deserve to even take the game to penalties.
Mansfield had a player called Keith Cassells they tore us a new one if i remember rightly.

Max is a very tidy footballer. He reads the game well and has an excellent short passing game. Our setup at the moment isn't ideal for him to show this, if there are no forward passing options he will play safe and go backwards or sideways. He's not a great dribbler but will go past players if they are on their heels, or if they are being hesitant watching other runners. He doesn't score many but they tend to be screamers. If you are planning a passing midfield with lots of movement he'll be fine for you. He wouldn't have worked for Pearson, but may well suit Manning.
Here's his assist from yesterday as an example of his skills
I might correct some of you mishaprehentions about our finances and former owner later if I can be bothered.
Sounds like Lee Johnson

Looking back at their 1st goal I think he is partially to blame too.
His positioning was well off. There was no need for him to be that far over to the left of his goal as at that point the angle to score on that side had been closed off.
He needed to be more central and if he was as there wasn't much pace on the shot he could have tipped it wide.
I thin your right. He was to blame for first goal too. The shot was pretty weak tbh, he had time to dive and save that.

I hope he is successful in helping FGR avoid relegation, but Goodness, hasn't he aged since he left Ashton Gate?
I know he was seriously ill with COVID, and is obviously a few years older, but I find the difference quite striking.
Good Luck Steve, and Good Health.
Was thinking the same.

I remember going down the gate against Stoke in our 1st season back in championship under GJ, which we won 1 nil, a screamer from Marv. We were sat near top of Dolman and a poor guy had a heart attack, got taken away and unfortunately died.

We see you Jon. We see your bullshit. It doesn’t stop us wanting to see Liam being successful but if you want to block people (not me incidentally) on Twitter and bemoan social media with Joe Sims, maybe just understand how the thing works.
Maybe Yessirs back.

What an absolute joke. Get rid of an experienced manager and support staff, claiming it’s so we’d play front foot football and then the first performance is like this.
Most new managers get a bounce or a honeymoon period, but really, that was an atrocious performance with nothing positive at all against one of the worst teams in the league.
Lansdown and Tinnion have a lot to answer for.
Manning out

Nice that.
Would look much better with another star though!
The star never really shows on the top. Silver on white not very clear. It should be black or navy. It’s like we don’t want anyone to know we’ve actually won a World Cup.

How stupid though to make the star that symbolises the fact that we’ve won the world cup white against a white shirt.
