I like the way they casually think a whole host of clubs are lining up to 'put them up' for a couple of seasons - us included. City/Sags have just agreed not to buy/sell players from each other; sharing grounds would be a non-starter you would think.

An obvious assumption to make I know, but either Wael is pulling off a huge bluff with UWE (who sound a bit rattled by it) to lower the price (it may work)m or Rovers are deep, deep in the doo doo. I don't think there is any middle ground i.e., they have the cash and can look elsewhere. They can't afford to spend years searching for new land or seeking planning permission. The UWE is shit or bust from them.

They only put that statement out as the collapse (on Rovers side) of the deal was leaked. If it were not for that I'm sure they would have continue to keep schtum.

Earlier today I thought they were calling UWE bluff. UWE obviously did not see this coming. Thought it was a smart move actually. But now, fingers crossed, they may have bigger, bigger issues and the whole deck of cards may come tumbling down and quickly.

Our lowest league attendance this season has been 16,444 against Brentford. Without checking, I would bet they have not had an home attendance for ANY match in the past 30 years of 16,000+.
