I’m sorry phantom but there was official consultation as I was at one of them, there was probably about 40 or so fans there, it was mainly the lads who were putting flags out in the atyeo at the time from how I understood the club talking to them.

@Dave L “hosted” it too, he could confirm,.

One of the photos shown was explained by one of the designers, and there was another one where a sort of sunken area at the front of the south stand, almost like a paddock or what you get abroad at times, but fans at the meeting were saying it limited the amount of fans if more wanted to stand in the future.

Then it appears the club just gave up on anything like that, and here we are.

I do remember going to one of these official club meetings during the redevelopment. I remember meeting the architect and put some ideas to him. He said in theory great ideas but he has already drawn up the plans and didn't want to change it as it had already cost the club alot of money.

Were there any issues with SAG and or Licensing Body, sign-off or was it purely a club led move/fail?

All I can remember is the club wanted us at the front of the stand and we wanted to be at the back. But most fans agreed it would be better if we were at the top so we wouldn't be interfering with those sitting down. But instead we got shoved into the corner. I don't think there was any issues with SAG or any Body at that time.

  3. During the redevelopment this either came up between fans and club but sadly the club didn't follow through for some reason. Maybe something to do with safe standing at the time. But I just feel all this has been lost now too many fans have got comfortable on their seats for which they do not own. Except for Brian Tinnion cause he has been there for 30 years!

  5. I've been a loyal fan since 67, followed this club through thick and thin, been through the good and bad times with this club. But this season is really tipping me over the edge to no longer feel part of this club anymore.

The way they treated Pearson was an absolute disgrace and the lies coming out of this club is embarrassing. Now we have an extra £40 increase in the south stand but we're not getting value for money anymore and the new TV schedule is really going to make it hard to attend games. So at this moment I just cannot be bothered to renew anymore.

That's my little rant over for now!

....from everyone in it together, players and fans under NP, all pulling together, getting it, fighting, respect, understanding...a feeling of we are all pulling in the same direction. A feeling of togetherness. Fighting, supportive, but respectful and knowing our ability and limits.

To this bullshit within a few months.

Talk about not understanding football, your fanbase, and totally thinking you and the squad are better than they are.

    Delusional.

It's a reflection of how many in Government/Politics read and understand the country and what's needed.

In it for themselves...out of their depth and massively delusional.

The fact a fan base can see it, call it...but our ' leaders' can't is stunning.

' Tecknically and Proffesionally ' sp 🤷😉 inept.

I never expected that from you spuds but you are totally spot on. I never felt so low after this game and when pearson was sacked. Jon Lansdown and Brian Tinnion are living in dream world expecting us to play the style we are but we can never afford the players to do this style. This month they'll be calling out the begging letters to renew our seasons tickets with the expectations of a top six finish next season. But I cannot put up with these lies and type of football. I just don't know what the answers are unless tinnion and jon go.

On the positive side of things I met 2 lovely ladies who are Juventus supporters. I still have the old Magic! 😂

It won't happen in the South Stand. People have had their seats for too long now and there would be uproar trying to move them. Where would you move them to?

For me the solution is to make the Atyeo a singing section and move away fans to the upper lansdown. However I know the logistics around that wouldn't be easy.

I would expect quite a few in the south stand would prefer to stand if asked. No need for them to move as mentioned years ago we should have had at least 9 rows across the back of the south stand. Those who prefer to sit would have spaces at the front.

  8. I thought the singing section of which i hate the name was really poor. Same boring songs over and over again. Nothing new or creative it was just dire. As an old East Ender I hate what the club have done. The old East End was fantastic. Everyone felt together as one. All that has been lost because of our board.

As you can tell i am ****** off tonight.

I have never been so angry!

we are Bristol City giving up sickners is what we do. But that took it to a new level

It’s going to take me days to calm down after that.

I can’t even listen to radio drivel as I might smash my radio.

Feeling the same way. What makes me more angry is why does the club always make the wrong decisions at the wrong time? And when we do make the right decision with managers we never back them. I am just truely F'd off with it all.

I'm probably in the minority but would love to see a remake of the red with blue shorts - or even the blue away kit for the cup final

I found this old photo a few years ago. Not too sure which year it was. White top and shorts with red socks. That could be a nice comeback for a final! I expect the white shirt would be worth alot of money now. I'll have to have a look in my attic:laugh:416718391_00RScott-FamousFootballTeams-Spurs-BrCity-002a.jpg.5b5620668c323cdd44d0a01d67dcd09f.jpg

Yeah just confirmed what we already knew then.

The boy thinks he knows better than the vastly experienced PHD qualified Dave rennie, and Brian ******* Tinnion seems to now have full control of all football operations.

    God help us.

I agree with you mate I think Tinnion is behind his sacking and is now playing the ghost manager role. He has probably drawn up a list of managers that he wants in who he can tell how to play. Probably has contacts in spain.
